The gateway access method includes: determining a target ePDG based on a priority level of at least one pre-recorded evolved packet data gateway ePDG; and initiating an access procedure to the target ePDG based on pre-recorded address information; where the priority level includes a priority level that is determined based on access parameter information of the at least one ePDG; and the address information includes address information of the target ePDG.

Abstract: A carrier aggregation control method and apparatus, a terminal, and a network-side equipment. A carrier aggregation control method applied to a terminal includes: receiving a first message delivered by a network-side equipment; reporting corresponding carrier aggregation association information to the network-side equipment based on a service state of the terminal, where the carrier aggregation association information indicates whether the network-side equipment configures a secondary cell of carrier aggregation for the terminal; and in response to a second message delivered by the network-side equipment based on the carrier aggregation association information, activating the secondary cell in a case that the network-side equipment configures the secondary cell of carrier aggregation for the terminal, and deactivating the secondary cell or maintaining a closed state of carrier aggregation in a case that the network-side equipment does not configure the secondary cell of carrier aggregation for the terminal.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a network attach method and user equipment. The method is applied to UE, and includes: sending a first network attach request message to a first target gateway according to the first information; where the first information is used to indicate load information of each of M gateways; the first target gateway is at least one gateway, to which the UE has never sent a network attach request message, in the M gateways; and the first network attach request message is used to request to attach to a 3GPP network through an untrusted Wi-Fi network, where M is a positive integer.
