    Abstract: Methods and systems for automatic segmentation of structures of interest of an organ in an MR image. The method includes creating a weighted active shape model (wASM); registering model points of the structures in an MR atlas image to a target image that is the MR image to be segmented, as initial model points of the structures in the target image; and iteratively fitting the wASM to the target image, starting from the initial model points, until the shape converges, wherein the final shape is the segmentation of the structures of interest.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of biomedicine, in particular to a drug delivery system for delivering a drug to cells. In an example of the present disclosure, the drug delivery system includes a drug delivery carrier, where a nucleic acid drug and a photothermal nanoparticle are encapsulated in the drug delivery carrier. The drug delivery system opens up an unprecedented means of intracellular drug delivery. Moreover, all materials of the system are desirable in biocompatibility, friendly to the environment without pollution, and harmless during use. Furthermore, compared with other operating methods, a use method of the system is simpler and more convenient to operate. The system shows low production and application costs and is economical-friendly.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an oxygenator and an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation device. The oxygenator includes a housing; an oxygenation chamber, arranged in the housing, and having a blood flow pipeline extend through a blood inlet and a blood outlet; a partition plate, arranged between the housing and the oxygenation chamber, the partition plate is arranged in a same direction as the upper end cover and divide the interior of the housing into a heat medium chamber and a gas chamber. The oxygenator combines the design of a heat medium chamber and a gas chamber to perform brand-new optimization design on a blood flow path, a gas pipeline and a heat medium pipeline of a membrane lung, so as to obtain the best hemodynamic performance, uniform distribution of internal flow fields and pressure fields, small flow retention zone, low blood flow resistance and high gas blood exchange efficiency and heat exchange efficiency.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an oxygenator and an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation device. The oxygenator includes: a housing, an upper end cover of the housing being provided with a blood inlet, and a lower end cover of the housing being provided with a blood outlet; and an oxygenation chamber, arranged in the housing, where the axis of the blood inlet and the axis of the blood outlet coincide with the axis of the oxygenation chamber. The blood inlet and the blood outlet are arranged at the center of the upper and lower parts of the oxygenation chamber, after the blood entering the oxygenation chamber is uniformly diffused to the periphery, the blood uniformly flows to the blood outlet from top to bottom due to gravity.     Abstract: Disclosed is a membrane oxygenator, comprising a housing, and a blood-oxygen exchange chamber arranged in the housing. A liquid inlet side of the housing is provided with at least two blood inlets, and a liquid outlet side of the housing is provided with at least two blood outlets. The liquid inlet side and the liquid outlet side are respectively located at either side of the housing. Projections of blood inlets at the liquid outlet side do not coincide with blood outlets. By designing the shape of the blood-oxygen exchange chamber, blood inlets and blood outlets, and a blood inlet porous baffle of the membrane oxygenator in a mode fits to the shape design of the blood-oxygen exchange chamber and blood inlets, the effects of evenly distributing the blood flow to enable full blood-gas exchange, relieving the blood stasis and the like are achieved, and thus reduce the clinical thrombosis risk.

    Abstract: A centrifugal impeller for a blood pump, and a blood pump are provided. The centrifugal impeller comprises a circular base plate, centrifugal blades, and a supporting structure. A through hole is formed in the middle of the base plate to form a secondary flow path. The centrifugal blades are arranged on the upper surface of the base plate, each centrifugal blade is a banana-shaped blade which is thick in middle and thin at both ends, and a wrap angle of each centrifugal blade is greater than or equal to 90°, and the centrifugal blades extend radially from the outer edge of the through hole to the periphery of the base plate.
