    Abstract: Various embodiments provide a data transmission method and apparatus. In those embodiments, a first device sends first indication information in a first frequency band, where the first indication information is indicative of a resource in a second frequency band, used by the first device and the second device to perform data transmission. In those embodiments, the first device performs, based on the scheduling information, data transmission with the second device, using the resource in the second frequency band. Those embodiments can schedule a device based on a plurality of frequency bands to perform data transmission. In this way, a larger bandwidth is used, a throughput rate is increased, and system performance is improved.

    Abstract: This application is applicable to a multi-link group addressed traffic transmission method and an apparatus. A first access point (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) sends group addressed traffic indication information indicating whether each AP of other APs of the AP MLD has a group addressed traffic, so that a station (STA) can learn whether the multiple APs have a group addressed traffic. In this way, each STA of the STA MLD does not need to listen to each AP whether each AP has a group addressed traffic. This reduces power consumption of the STA MLD. This application may be applied to a wireless local area network system that supports an IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi EHT protocol, for example, 802.11 series protocols such as 802.11be.

Correspondingly, a receive end receives the radio frame, and parses the radio frame. The radio frame includes a first element and a second element. The first element includes an expected duration field. The expected duration field may be determined based on a most recent TBTT or TU boundary before a transmission time of the radio frame, or may be determined based on a TSF timer. This can ensure that an expected end time of a mapping relationship of the first element is the same as a time at which a mapping relationship of the second element is established.

The AP MLD sets a second status code field of a multi-link element of the association response frame to a newly defined value, to indicate that a cause why a link is not accepted is that the first link is not accepted. This application is applied to a WLAN system that supports a next generation Wi-Fi protocol of 802.11ax, for example, 802.11be, Wi-Fi 7, or EHT, and other 802.11 series protocols; and for another example, a next generation protocol of 802.11be: Wi-Fi 8.

The data frame occupies a transmission resource block, a bandwidth occupied by the transmission resource block is greater than 160 MHz, and the data frame comprises resource unit (RU) allocation information. The sending device determines indication information based on a resource block size indicated by the RU allocation information and a location of a 160 MHz channel within the bandwidth occupied by the transmission resource block, with the 160 MHz channel having more data tones in the transmission resource block. The sending device determines a response resource block based on the indication information and the RU allocation information, and then receives an acknowledgment frame for the data frame from the receiving device on the response resource block.

The terminal device ignores the NAV set by the first AP, and performs uplink transmission by using the transmission opportunity shared by the first AP.
