Abstract: A method of video processing includes making a first determination about whether a decoder-side motion vector refinement (DMVR) tool is enabled for a conversion between a current block of a current picture of a video and a coded representation of the video; making a second determination, based on the first determination, about whether or how to clip a motion vector according to a bounding block for reference sample padding in a reference picture used for determining a prediction block for the current block according to a rule, and performing the conversion based on the first determination and the second determination. By using the DMVR tool, an encoded motion vector from the coded representation is refined prior to using for determining the prediction block.

Abstract: Methods and systems for emulating high side current of a power switch including low and high side switches. The method includes generating, with a low side current sensor, a low side current signal for the low side switch when the power switch is in a low state. The method also includes generating, with a first transconductance amplifier, an emulated current signal based on an input voltage of the power switch. The method further includes generating, with a buffer, a fixed reference voltage by sampling the low side current signal when the power switch changes from the low state to a high state. The method also includes generating, with a capacitor, an emulated voltage based on the emulated current signal and the fixed reference voltage. The method further includes, generating, with a second transconductance amplifier, a high side current signal for the high side switch based on the emulated voltage.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure include a receiver of an optical sensing system. The receiver may include a Hadamard mask configured to resonate during a scanning procedure performed by the optical sensing system. The Hadamard mask may include a frame beginning pattern corresponding to a start of a frame captured during the scanning procedure. The Hadamard mask may also include a coded pattern configured to provide sub-pixelization of the frame. The receiver may also include a photodetector array positioned on a first side of the Hadamard mask. The photodetector array may be configured to detect light that passes through the Hadamard mask during the scanning procedure to generate the frame.

Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving a text phrase from a user and parsing the text phrase using a natural language parser to generate distinct words. A vector of values relating to the distinct words is generated and compared to vectors in a graph database which relate to learned communities of language. Based on the comparing, a most similar community in the learned communities of language is determined and an action set associated with the most similar community is queried. A response to the text phrase from the user is then generated based on the action set and provided to the user.

The cover body includes a first lubrication groove. The motion guiding device is further provided with a lubrication path component, the lubrication path component including a second lubrication groove having a cross-sectional area less than that of the first lubrication groove. When a lubricating oil is used as the lubricant, the lubricant is supplied by a lubricating oil lubrication path formed by the first lubrication groove and the second lubrication groove. In this way, in the motion guiding device, the lubrication path may be widened when the lubricating grease is used to lubricate, while the lubrication path may be narrowed when the lubricating oil is used to lubricate, so that a good lubrication may be easily achieved.

The control module executes an algorithm to estimate an amount of energy for an electric vehicle to travel between two locations. The algorithm includes: determining, based on the average traffic speed data and the average traffic acceleration data, a baseline amount of energy for the electric vehicle to travel between the two locations; determining, based on the driver speed data and the driver acceleration data, a dynamic amount of energy corresponding to at least one of stop and go events, over speeding, or under speeding; and determining a total amount of energy based on the baseline amount of energy and the dynamic amount of energy. Abstract: A memory image can be captured by generating metadata indicative of a state of volatile memory and/or byte-addressable PMEM at a particular time during execution of a process by an application. This memory image can be persisted without copying the in-memory data into a separate persistent storage by storing the metadata and safekeeping the in-memory data in the volatile memory and/or PMEM. Metadata associated with multiple time-evolved memory images captured can be stored and managed using a linked index scheme. A linked index scheme can be configured in various ways including a full index and a difference-only index. The memory images can be used for various purposes including suspending and later resuming execution of the application process, restoring a failed application to a previous point in time, cloning an application, and recovering an application process to a most recent state in an application log.
