Abstract: Techniques related to content based encoding of video content for transmission and display via a remote device are discussed. Such techniques may include collecting graphics properties for graphics layers of a frame of a video sequence, determining encode settings based on the graphics properties, and coding the frame of the video sequence for wireless transmission based on the encode settings.

Abstract: Immunopotentiators can be adsorbed to insoluble metal salts, such as aluminum salts, to modify their pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, intramuscular retention time, and/or immunostimulatory effect. Immunopotentiators are modified to introduce a moiety, such as a phosphonate group, which can mediate adsorption. These modified compounds can retain or improve their in vivo immunological activity even when delivered in an adsorbed form.

Super-prediction coding may include generating a super-prediction block for the current block by generating a prediction block for each unpartitioned sub-block of the current block, generating a super-prediction block for each partitioned sub-block of the current block by super-prediction coding the sub-block, and including the prediction blocks and super-prediction blocks for the sub-blocks in a super-prediction block for the current block. Including the prediction blocks and super-prediction blocks for the sub-blocks in a super-prediction block for the current block may include filtering at least a portion of each prediction block and each super-prediction block based on a spatially adjacent prediction block.

Abstract: A bill softness recognition method and a bill softness recognition device are provided. The method includes: receiving bills; extracting and separating the bills to make the bills enter a bill channel in a separated manner; capturing a single-bill image and a bill background image of each of the extracted bills; rolling the extracted bill to make the bill press a plurality of prearranged force sensors; acquiring effective force signals fed back from the force sensors; acquiring an inclination angle of the bill based on the single-bill image and the bill background image; determining, based on the inclination angle, the force sensor that is pressed by the bill as an effective force sensor; and judging whether the effective force signal of the effective force sensor meets a preset softness condition, and determining the bill as a soft bill if the effective force signal meets the preset softness condition.

Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for establishing a wireless connection for an application of a user equipment. In comparison with the prior art, the present application is applied to detect whether a first application has a communication requirement, and call a corresponding third-party connection module to execute a wireless connection operation when there is a communication requirement. The wireless connection operation comprises: sending a wireless access point information request to a corresponding network equipment; receiving one or more pieces of wireless access point information sent by the network equipment based on the wireless access information request; and establishing a wireless connection between the user equipment and the corresponding wireless access point according to at least one piece of information in the one or more pieces of wireless access point information so as to realize the communication requirement of the first application.

The meeting request includes a plurality of invitees and a meeting description. Availability of the invitees is detected and retrieved by determining a calendar availability for each of the invitees. The availability of the invitees is analyzed in relation to the meeting description to determine a list of available invitees. The method and system determine an importance of a scheduled meeting in an invitee's calendar in response to a calendar conflict between the meeting request and another scheduled meeting on the invitee's calendar. The importance is determined using a cognitive analysis of the invitee's calendar entry and the meeting description. The cognitive analysis includes determining an available invitee with a calendar conflict, and determining the importance of the invitee to the scheduled meeting using the cognitive analysis.

The lithium ion battery graphite negative electrode material is a composite material including graphite substrates, surface coating layers coated on the graphite substrates and carbon nanotubes and/or carbon nanofibers grown in situ on the surface of the surface coating layers. The preparation method thereof includes, in solid phase or liquid phase circumstance, the coated carbon material precursor forms the surface coating layer of amorphous carbon by carbonization, and then carbon nanotubes and/or carbon nanofibers having high conductive performance are formed on the surface of the surface coating layers by vapor deposition. This coating mode of the combination of solid phase with gas phase or of liquid phase and gas phase makes the amorphous carbon formed on the surface of the graphite substrates more uniform and dense.

Abstract: A high pressure dynamic micro differential pressure gauge, and methods for using and checking the same. The high pressure dynamic micro differential pressure gauge comprises a set of vertical manometer tubes in communication with each other, where one or more manometer tubes are connected to a resistance meter through signal lines, and the resistance meter is connected to a data collection and processing control system. Each manometer tube is full of low conductivity buffer liquid and high conductivity manometric liquid. The resistance meter is configured to measure resistances in the one or more manometer tubes, and the data collection and processing control system is configured to convert the resistances measured by the resistance meter into a differential pressure.

In some embodiments, there is a method of making a disposable prophy angle by overmolding a prophy cup to the prophy angle. In other embodiments, there is a method of using the prophy angle to prevent tooth decay.

In an embodiment, the method includes sending, by first user equipment, a discovery request message to a first proximity-based service entity, wherein the discovery request message comprises initial location information of the first user equipment and receiving a discovery response message sent by the first proximity-based service entity, wherein the discovery response message comprises a first code word of the first user equipment. The method further include generating a discovery message according to location offset information and the first code word, wherein the location offset information is an offset between a current location and an initial location of the first user equipment and broadcasting the discovery message, wherein the discovery message is used by a second user equipment to determine a location of the first user equipment.
