Abstract: The subject invention pertains to systems and methods to improve the condition of an eye and to either treat or lower the risk of diseases such as glaucoma. Systems and methods are provided for increasing compliance, improving circulation and fluid flow, or promoting tissue cell metabolism by warm compress, and/or irradiation at single or multiple wavelengths (e.g., between 780 to 950 nm or between 550 to 700 nm), and/or application of static and/or dynamic pressure to the eye. Embodiments provide a wearable head set with pressure controlled goggles, controlled irradiation sources, and temperature-controlled heat sources or pads exposed to or in contact with the eye or surrounding region to warm up the tissues of the eye and promote the vasodilation of the blood vessels at the eye as well as circulation within the blood system connected to the Schlemm's canal or other regions in or around the eye.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a traffic intersection and traffic guidance system therefor, that has an intersection region where two roads cross, and a distal crossover zone that allows vehicles that are turning to the right (on a left-hand-drive road) to crossover to the right hands side of the road at a distance from the intersection. In this way, a separate right turn phase is not required by the traffic lights at the intersection, and vehicles turning right can turn at the same time as vehicle moving straight over the intersection or turning left. The turning right lane approaching the distal crossover zone from a distal side of the distal crossover zone is located on the far left, allowing vehicles going straight to continue to move in a straight line. Lanes that guide vehicles moving straight are reconfigurable to guide vehicles to move in opposed directions at different time of the day, depending on the traffic loading, and are also reconfigurable as parking spaces.

Abstract: The present invention provides a traffic intersection located at an intersection of two multilane roads, each road comprising a plurality of traffic lanes spaced adjacent each other, the traffic intersection comprising an intersection region wherein the surface area of the intersecting roads overlap, a proximate region in which each road approaching the intersection defines at least one turning right lane for guiding vehicles to turn right at the intersection onto the intersecting road, at least one going straight lane for guiding vehicles to move straight through the intersection on the same road and at least one going straight receiving lane for receiving vehicles moving straight through the intersection.

Abstract: Anti-bottleneck mode traffic of vertical and horizontal interactive public transportation at level crossings, including four main roads crossed wherein: main roads are divided into front and rear sections, sidewalk between two sections and has pedestrian signal lights, the road front section has front section right-turn lane, front section turnback lane and front section through lane, between the front section and the sidewalk is front section signal light group. The rear section has rear section right-turn lane and rear section through lane, the rear section has rear section turnback lane and rear section through lane, the rear section has a rear section signal light group, and two sides of the sidewalk have a turning basin. Combinations produced by turnback alternately shielded by vertical and horizontal men and vehicles. Non-obstruction road sections of bus stops are pointed out. There are no direct intersection conflicts keeping anti-bottleneck mode at all times.

Abstract: A traffic intersection is configured to allow for the splitting of turning left lane from the other lanes at a region distal from the intersection region at a crossover zone to reduce bottlenecks at the intersection region itself and smoothes the flow of traffic. Also provided are a traffic guidance system, a traffic signaling arrangement, a pedestrian crossing, a pedestrian crossing guidance system, a directional indicator arrangement, a method of marking a traffic intersection and a method of determining a marking protocol for use at or with the traffic intersection.

The first lower level floor includes a first lower level parking lot. The main road and the auxiliary road cross intersect at the turntable. The cross-shaped viaduct crosses above the turntable and is connected to the main road and the auxiliary road. The dual-line bridge is connected to the main road and the single-line bridge is connected to the auxiliary road.

The content is encrypted and decryptable according to a content key, and the sub-license includes the content key encrypted and decryptable according to a secret. The sub-license also includes indexing information identifying the secret to the device. The indexing information in the sub-license is obtained to identify the secret, and the secret is acquired based at least in part on the indexing information. The secret is then applied to the encrypted content key to decrypt and obtain the content key, and the obtained content key is applied to the encrypted content to decrypt and obtain the content.

Abstract: A system for settling an online purchase made via an Internet connection to a online purveyor includes a central account platform connected to the Internet and a prepaid optical disc for use in a cd rom drive of the purchaser's computer. The account platform includes a database having multiple prepaid account records. Each of the prepaid account records has a unique prepaid account identifier and a monetary amount associated with the prepaid account identifier. The prepaid optical disc has one of the prepaid account identifiers and software recorded thereon. The software includes means for initiating communication between the account platform and the purchaser's computer.
