  • Publication number: 20240093795
Abstract: A check valve may include: a check seat defining a flow path; a clapper assembly hingedly connected to the check seat and configured to obstruct the flow path, including: a clapper and a seal retainer detachably mounted to the clapper; a first extension extending from the clapper assembly in an upstream direction and having a roller; a cam arm rotatable relative to the clapper assembly and configured to engage with the roller; and a torsion spring operatively connected to the cam arm so as to apply a biasing force to the cam arm in the upstream direction. The biasing force may be imparted to the clapper assembly via the cam arm and roller, so that the clapper assembly obstructs the flow path.

  • Publication number: 20240093796
Abstract: A spring stop arrangement for a check valve may include: a check seat defining a flow path; a clapper assembly connected to the check seat and configured to obstruct the flow path, the clapper assembly including: a clapper; and a seal retainer detachably mounted to the clapper; a cam arm connected to the check seat, the cam arm including a stopper; and a torsion spring operatively connected to the cam arm so as to apply a biasing force to the cam arm against the direction of fluid flow. When the seal retainer is dismounted from the clapper, the stopper may be configured to contact the check seat so as to prevent rotation of the cam arm.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are provided of antennas and antenna systems including the same. In an exemplary embodiment, an antenna generally includes an upper radiating patch element, a ground plane spaced apart from the upper radiating patch element, and a feed point positioned adjacent the ground plane. A first feeding element electrically couples (e.g., via proximity coupling or direct galvanic coupling) the upper radiating patch element to the feed point. A second feeding element electrically couples (e.g., via proximity coupling or direct galvanic coupling) the upper radiating patch element to the feed point. A shorting element electrically couples (e.g., via proximity coupling or direct galvanic coupling) the upper radiating patch element to the ground plane. In other exemplary embodiments, the antenna systems include one or more ground planes and one or more antennas.

  • Publication number: 20100000276
Abstract: A self-scrambling combination includes a frame that supports at least two tumbler rings and an activating slide. The tumbler rings are marked with characters used for a combination for the lock. The lock is openable only when the tumbler rings are located in an open position related to the combination. The activating slide moves a locking bar between a locked position and an unlocked position. A scrambling mechanism is attached to the activating slide and rotates the tumbler rings from the open position to another position upon movement of the activating slide to move the locking bar from the unlocked position to the locked position. The frame can be used as the door of a lockbox and an attached key lock controls the setting of the combination for the lock. The self-scrambling combination lock can be used for a briefcase or valise lock with an additional spring closing the lock.
