The method includes: displaying a game interface corresponding to a first virtual object; in response to a preset game event, acquiring clue information of a second virtual object in a game scene, and updating the current suspicion value of at least one second virtual object, wherein the clue information is information generated in response to a first target interactive operation performed by the second virtual object on a target object in the game scene; acquiring location information of the second virtual object with the current suspicion value satisfying a target threshold range in the game scene; and displaying, on a game scene map in the game interface, a mark corresponding to the location information.
