  • Publication number: 20250170426
Abstract: A small animal imaging and radiotherapy (RT) irradiator device uses a circular array x-ray source to scan an anatomy of an animal, delivers conventional and ultra-high dose rate of radiation to the treatment target. The multipixel x-ray source includes a ring of focal spots capable of irradiating x-ray beams from around fifty beam angles. The x-ray beams are collimated with a collimator designed in treatment planning.

  • Patent number: 12257084
Abstract: A CT scanning method compensates gantry motion blurring in projection measurement based on synchronized focal spot movement and detector data shifting. Tube power is increased by moving the focal on the target and reducing focal spot dwell duration. The CT scanning method is used on helical CT and cone beam with a rotating anode source and CBCT and TBCT with a linear array x-ray source.
