    Abstract: The present disclosure described systems and methods for providing OTT services to a UE. An exemplary OTT-providing host computer includes a transceiver, a processor, and memory collective configured to provide the OTT service by initiating transmission of user data to the UE. To transmit the user data from the host computer to the wireless device, a network node sends a first control message for assigning a PDSCH, the first control message comprising a first MCS indication as described. The network node sends to the wireless device a second control message for assigning a PDSCH, the second control message comprising a second MCS indication as described. The network node transmits the user data thereafter.

The data for the first service requires lower latency than the data for the second service and the data for the first service includes an original set of data for the first service and at least one repetition of the original set of data for the first service. The transmitting node adjusts resources consumed by the data for the first service based on available transmission resources. During the time period the transmitting node then transmits the data for the first service using the adjusted resources while data for the second service is transmitted during the time period.

    Abstract: Methods and systems described herein are directed to encoding information bits for transmission. The methods can include receiving a set of information bits (900) and determining a set of parity check bits (910). The set of information bits is concatenated with the set of parity check bits (920), and the information bits are polar encoded into a set of information bits and frozen bits (930). The encoded set of information bits is transmitted to a wireless receiver (940). In particular embodiments, each parity check bit in the set of parity check bits is the binary sum of the values of all bits in front of it. Other embodiments include generating a set of parity check bits based on a systematic block code on the least reliable bits of the set of information bits. The methods and systems described herein may be applied to 3GPP 5G mobile communication systems.
