  • Patent number: 11932251
Abstract: A vehicle control device includes a recognizer configured to recognize an object around a host vehicle, a driving controller configured to control a speed and steering of the host vehicle and cause the host vehicle to overtake a moving body recognized as the object by the recognizer in a predetermined case, the moving body being a moving body present at a side of a road on which the host vehicle is present, and a predictor configured to predict that the host vehicle will be overtaken by the overtaken moving body at a future point in time when the moving body has been recognized by the recognizer, and the driving controller is configured to not cause the host vehicle to overtake the moving body when the predictor predicts that the host vehicle will be overtaken by the overtaken moving body at a future point in time.

  • Patent number: 10029539
Abstract: An air conditioning device for vehicle includes a refrigeration cycle including a compressor for sucking, compressing and discharging a refrigerant, a condenser for condensing the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant discharged from the compressor, an expansion valve for decompressing the refrigerant condensed in the condenser and an evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant through heat exchange between the refrigerant reduced in pressure by the expansion valve and surrounding air. This air conditioning device for vehicle increases an operation rate of the compressor more than that before a vehicle speed drops below a first permitted vehicle speed higher than a fuel cut recovery vehicle speed when an air conditioner is on, at which the compressor is actuated, when the vehicle speed drops below the first permitted vehicle speed during the deceleration of a vehicle associated with a fuel cut.

  • Patent number: 9259992
Abstract: A vehicle air conditioner control system has an air conditioning device has a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, and an evaporator, a compressor running rate control device, a deceleration fuel cutoff executing device, and a fuel supply recovery executing device that cancels cutoff of fuel supply and recovers fuel supply at a higher vehicle speed during vehicle deceleration fuel cutoff period with air-conditioner ON than during vehicle deceleration fuel cutoff period with air-conditioner OFF. The compressor running rate control device increases the compressor running rate for a predetermined period just before a fuel supply recovery time with air-condition ON during the deceleration fuel cutoff period more than during non-execution of the deceleration fuel cutoff, and subsequently decreases the compressor running rate at or just before the fuel supply recovery time with air-condition ON equal to or less than during non-practice of the deceleration fuel cutoff.

  • Patent number: 9102213
Abstract: A vehicle air conditioner control system has an air conditioning device for performing a refrigerating cycle, having a compressor that intakes, compresses, and discharges a refrigerant, a condenser that condenses the refrigerant discharged from the compressor, an expansion valve that depressurizes the refrigerant condensed by the condenser, an evaporator that performs heat exchange between open air and the refrigerant to vaporize the refrigerant, a compressor ON/OFF control device that controls a running rate of the compressor by alternating between an ON state and an OFF state, a vehicle deceleration fuel cut-off executing device that performs cut-off fuel supply during vehicle deceleration, and a fuel supply recovery executing device that cancels fuel cut-off and recovers fuel supply during vehicle deceleration fuel cut-off period based on a demand to turn on the compressor.
