  • Publication number: 20150032418
Abstract: Data from movable devices, each of which has at least one sensor, is aggregated using a method comprising: receiving data from multiple movable devices, where each datum from the data is generated by at least one sensor within a movable device from the multiple movable devices; determining, based on received data from the multiple movable devices, whether at least two movable devices from the multiple movable devices are mutually related; determining, based on received data from the multiple movable devices, whether the received data from different sensors are mutually related; and filtering at least a part of the data from the multiple movable devices judged to be mutually related and that was generated by sensors that are mutually related according to shared attributes of the multiple movable devices and the sensors in the multiple movable devices.

  • Patent number: 8266247
Abstract: A relay processing apparatus for relaying communications between a process for a control program that generates control commands for a terminal and a process for an HTTP server program that returns, to the terminal, a command constituting an HTTP response to a HTTP request received from the terminal, comprises: a terminal request processor for initiating the process performed by the control program upon the reception of a function call from the HTTP server program that initially received the HTTP request; and a control request processor for receiving from the control program a command corresponding to a function call, and for transmitting to the terminal request processor a notification that the command has been received, wherein, when the reception notification is received, the terminal request processor is permitted to return the processing to the HTTP server program, and the HTTP server program is permitted to return the command included in the HTTP response issued for the HTTP request.

  • Patent number: 7317790
Abstract: A central system can quickly pass on job requests intended for remote systems with minimal costs and delays. When a job request for a remote system is received, the central system initiates a conventional telephone call to the remote system. At the remote system, a communications terminal logs the incoming call without allowing it to be completed. When the call is refused, the central system terminates the call attempt. The remote system analyzes the logged call information to determine whether the call originated with the central system. If it did, the remote system, generates an HTTP request which is transmitted to the central system via a public computer network such as the Internet. The central system responds to the HTTP request by retrieving the job request from storage and passing it on to the remote system via the public computer network in the form of an HTTP response.

  • Patent number: 7013334
Abstract: A network system comprising general management consoles 9, which are connected to the Internet 8; a supervisor management console 4, which can be accessed by a device management server 2; a database 5, which is connected to the device management server 2, wherein company data, correlated with each general management console 9, and device data, for each device 10 correlated with the company data, are stored; a console manager 3, for relaying the data processing; and means for referring to the company data and the device data to permit the correlated general management console to provide a correlated service or device or group. Since only a management console is installed in a company, the company is relieved of its responsibility for providing for the complicated operation of a management server. Furthermore, since the fee that an ISP may charge for providing a device management service for multiple companies can be split among the relevant companies, the expense incurred by each company can be reduced.
