    Abstract: A method, including receiving a turbine system operating parameter. The turbine system operating parameter includes an indication of a frequency variation of an electric power system associated with the turbine system. The method includes determining a correction factor to vary the output of the turbine system according to the frequency variation, wherein the correction factor is based on a droop power response and a nominal droop power ratio. The droop power response is calculated based on a gas turbine power output and a speed-load error. The method further includes varying the output of the turbine system based at least in part on the correction factor.

The movable member of each stage of compression unit of the centrifugal compressor changes the radial flow area of the diffusion cavity of this stage of compression unit, thereby effectively reducing the possibility of surging.

The combined cycle power plant may comprise a gas turbine permanently coupled to a generator and a steam turbine selectively coupled to the generator via a clutch. The processor may be further configured to receive an engagement status associated with the clutch and receive first data and second data. Based on the engagement status, the processor may select the first data or the second data and use that to estimate a base load. The base load estimation may be calibrated based on the operating parameters.

The centrifugal compressor and the centrifugal water chilling unit can solve the problem that the adjustable diffuser easily inclines and is stuck, thereby greatly improving the reliability of the centrifugal compressor.

The extending direction of the exhaust diffuser pipe communicated with the volute inclines downwards with respect to the horizontal plane, so that noise and airflow losses of high-temperature and high-pressure air in the exhaust diffuser pipe expelled from the centrifugal compressor due to bending of the pipe can be reduced, and the noise can be effectively reduced.

    Abstract: An automatic voltage compensation circuit in a voltage regulator compensates the output voltage for a voltage drop along lines leading to a remote load. A load capacitor is connected across the load for providing a low impedance across the load during a test phase of the regulator. In one embodiment, during the test phase, the load current is changed up or down a small percentage (e.g., 10%). As a result, the regulator voltage changes due only to the line resistance since the load is bypassed by the load capacitor. The voltage drop at full load current is then derived by detecting the change in regulator output voltage (a fractional voltage drop) and multiplying it. The normal mode is resumed, and the derived voltage drop is added to the regulator output by either compensating the feedback loop or by adding the voltage drop to the output of the regulator.
