The humidity reduction apparatus comprises a gas delivery conduit, at least one heat-conductive media positioned in-line within at least a portion of the gas delivery conduit, and a cooler in contact with at least a portion of the gas delivery conduit to cool the gas delivery conduit and the at least one heat-conductive media. The gas delivery conduit comprises at least one conducting portion. The first side of the cooler is configured to cool the at least one conducting portion of the gas delivery conduit and the at least one heat-conductive media. The voltage applied across the cooler is selectably reversed such that the first side heats the at least one conducting portion of the gas delivery conduit and the at least one heat-conductive media.

Abstract: A method is described herein of making a textured glass article where the method includes: providing a glass substrate having an initial primary surface and an opposing primary surface; disposing a protective coating on at least one of the initial primary surface or the opposing primary surface; and etching the glass substrate with a hydrofluoric acid-free etchant having a pH of about 7 or less to form a leached layer in the glass substrate.

Abstract: Methods of manufacturing a glass-based article comprise: after mechanical polishing of a glass-based substrate, treating at least one surface of the glass-based substrate for protection of the at least one surface from contamination and/or for removal of contaminants from the at least one surface by a treatment other than ultrasonic cleaning; and exposing the glass-based substrate to an ion exchange treatment after the treating step to form the glass-based article. The treating step includes: exposing the at least one surface to a high pH soaking for removal of contaminants; deionizing the at least one surface for removal of contaminants; and/or applying a temporary coating to the at least one surface for protection of the at least one surface from contamination, and removing the temporary coating prior to the ion exchange treatment step. The ion exchange treatment may comprise a molten salt bath having an increased pH and temperature.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are glass compositions with high silica content that present several advantages over glasses and other materials currently used for redistribution layers for RF, interposers, and similar applications. The glasses disclosed herein are low cost, flat glasses that have high throughput for the laser damage and etching process used to create through glass vias (TGVs). TGVs generated using the silicate glasses and processes described herein have large waist diameters, which is a desirable feature with respect to producing glass articles such as interposers.

The structure includes a pressure diffuser portion and a return device portion integrally molded with the pressure diffuser portion. The pressure diffuser portion is configured to form a pressure diffusion flow channel. The return device portion has a return channel. The return channel is in communication with the pressure diffusion flow channel, and is configured to guide gas from the pressure diffusion flow channel. The structure of the present invention eliminates a need of independently installing a return device and a pressure diffuser, and eliminates connection seams caused by assembly and misalignment caused by accumulated errors. Therefore, gas can smoothly flow through the pressure diffusion flow channel into the return channel, such that a gas flow is well guided, and the gas flow uniformity is better.
