The processor stores, for each tax rate in the memory, the total price in a trade of a product to which reduction is applied, the product being identified by a product code input by the input device. The processor calculates the amount of tax of the product to be traded on the basis of the total price of a product taxed with a specific tax rate after the reduction processing and the total price of a product taxed with a tax rate other than the specific tax rate.
