  • Patent number: 11749701
Abstract: An image capturing device unit capable of reducing noise generated in image signals due to power supply. A pixel portion of an image capturing device has pixels arranged in a matrix in first and second directions perpendicular to each other. Output lines are arranged in parallel to the second direction, for reading out pixel signals in the second direction for each of groups of pixels arranged in the first direction. A power supply wiring is arranged on a substrate surface different from a surface on which the image capturing device is mounted and supplies power to the device, and includes a draw-out wiring portion arranged to be routed along the second direction in a pixel portion area which overlaps the pixel portion when the device is projected onto the substrate in a third direction perpendicular to the first and the second directions.

  • Patent number: 11303841
Abstract: A sensor includes a pixel portion having first and second areas; and a controller that controls readout of signals from the pixel portion in units of rows. The controller controls to read out a noise signal and an image signal, from each pixel in the first area, controls to read out a noise signal, a focus detection signal, and an image signal, from each pixel in the second area. Further, a time from when the noise signal is read out to when the image signal is read out from each pixel is controlled to be equal between the first area and the second area, and during that time, at least one of the noise signal and the image signal is read out from another row in the first area.

  • Publication number: 20070288748
Abstract: The present invention aims to effectively prevent spoofing in authentication and maintain convenience of the user. In a face authentication unit of the portable telephone, the face image checking part checks the face image of the person to be authenticated, which is acquired by a face image acquiring part through a photographing unit, with face feature information contained in a face feature DB of the storage unit and calculates the matching degree. A threshold value determining section determines the threshold value by searching the evaluation DB based on the position information of the own device acquired by the position information acquiring section through the GPS receiver. An authenticating section compares the matching degree calculated by the face image checking section and the threshold value determined by the threshold value determining section, and determines success and failure of the face authentication.

  • Patent number: 7084806
Abstract: Provided are an intruding object detecting apparatus (a radio wave sensor) capable of setting an arbitrary detection region, an apparatus for setting the detection region and a setting processe. An intruding object detecting apparatus 51 is installed in a corner of a room 53, a coordinate system is defined in which a location of the intruding object detecting apparatus 51 is an origin thereof, and coordinates are a distance r from the intruding object detecting apparatus and a scanning angle ? of a transmission antenna/reception antenna of the intruding object detecting apparatus, and a state corresponding to the coordinate system is stored (b) in a storage means; thereby enabling the detection region 52 of the intruding object detecting apparatus can be arbitrarily set. Moreover, the setting can be performed with ease using a reflector or a transmitter, or alternatively, using a setting apparatus constituted of the reflector and the transmitter, combined.

  • Patent number: 5841187
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electronic component by seal-molding with resin a die pad mounted by an electronic element thereon and loads of input-and-output terminals which are supported by a lead frame having an outer frame and removing such sealed electronic component with mold materials from the outer frame of the lead frame which includes suspending pins for supporting the leads and a first mold holder disconnected from the leads, the method including the steps of resin molding a first mold member on the leads and the first mold holder to join the leads and the first mold member with the first mold member, cutting the suspending pins between the first mold member and the outer frame, resin-molding a second mold member on the first mold member to cover the cut ends of the suspending pins, and cutting the first mold holder between the second mold member and the outer frame to remove thus molded electronic component from the lead frame.
