Publication number: 20240130951Abstract: The present invention relates to coated particles in which vegetable wax is provided on the surface of starch particles. The coated particles have an average particle diameter d1 of 0.5 to 20 ?m and a maximum particle diameter d2 being less than 30 ?m and less than 4.0 times the average particle diameter d1. The vegetable wax is contained in an amount of 0.5 to 10.0 wt % in the coated particles. Accordingly, particles having excellent feel characteristics and water repellency can be achieved with a natural material having excellent biodegradability. A method for producing coated particles includes: a step of preparing a dispersion that contains 1 to 20 wt % of starch particles; a step of adding vegetable wax to the dispersion and heating and cooling the mixture to precipitate the vegetable wax on the surface of the starch particles; and a step of subjecting this dispersion to solid-liquid separation to obtain coated particles as a solid.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 17, 2022Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Naoyuki ENOMOTO, Yuichi HAMASAKI, IKuko SHIMAZAKI

Patent number: 10327860Abstract: A measurement instrument for joint surgery may relatively move a first bone and a second bone, which are connected by soft tissue at a joint, in directions other than directions in which these bones are separated from each other, and measure the stability of a connection state between these bones. A housing may be fixed to a first bone. A slider may slide relative to the housing, and abut against a second bone. A position display portion displays the position of the slider relative to the housing. A measurement instrument for joint surgery relatively moves the second bone relative to the first bone along a joint face by the slider sliding relative to the housing. The stability of a state of connection between the first bone and the second bone is measured based on the position of the slider relative to the housing displayed by the position display portion.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2015Date of Patent: June 25, 2019Assignee: KYOCERA CORPORATIONInventors: Shuichi Matsuda, Masahiko Hashida, Yuichi Enomoto

Patent number: 10201429Abstract: In an artificial knee joint implant, an increase in constraint force of a femur component and a tibia component in the anterior-posterior direction and the left-right direction of a patient is enabled, and an increase in an allowable degree of medial pivot motion is enabled. An artificial knee joint implant has a femur component to be fixed to a distal portion of a femur of a patient, and a tibia component to be fixed to a proximal portion of a tibia of the patient. Femur sliding faces of the femur component and tibia sliding faces of the tibia component each include a region in which the curvature radius varies in a predetermined direction.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2015Date of Patent: February 12, 2019Assignee: Kyocera CorporationInventors: Yuichi Enomoto, Masahiko Hashida

Patent number: 9968465Abstract: A femoral component trial for a knee joint of the present invention includes a trial body. The trial body includes a medial condyle and a lateral condyle that are located away from each other on an external surface, a through hole that is located between the medial condyle and the lateral condyle and has an approximately rectangular shape whose long side is an outer edge of an inner wall located along a back-and-forth direction and whose short side is an outer edge of an inner wall located along a right-and-left direction in an external surface view, a first guide slit that is located ahead of and above the through hole and extends in the right-and-left direction, and four second guide slits respectively extending from four corner parts of the through hole and along the long side.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2014Date of Patent: May 15, 2018Assignee: KYOCERA CORPORATIONInventors: Yuichi Enomoto, Masahiko Hashida
