Patent number: 5234997Abstract: A fiber-reinforced chlorinated polyethylene composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a continuous phase of a chlorinated polyethylene and 2-100 parts by weight of a polyamide dispersed in the continuous phase in a fine short fiber form. Further a process comprises kneading a chlorinated polyethylene and a fiber-formable polyamide at a temperature not lower than the melting point of the polyamide and then stretching the kneaded product to obtain the above fiber-reinforced chlorinated polyethylene composition. When in the above process, the kneading is effected by further adding a reactive binder, there can be obtained a fiber-reinforced chlorinated polyethylene composition wherein the compatibility and dispersion of the fiber-formable polyamide with and in the chlorinated polyethylene are improved.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 1990Date of Patent: August 10, 1993Assignee: Ube Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Kunio Oda, Denichi Oda, Yuichi Fujii, Takeshi Takagi

Patent number: 5212823Abstract: In a radio communication system, a base station transmits a signal including a component which designates a power level. A mobile station receives the signal from the base station. In the mobile station, an output power of the mobile station is set to the designated power level, and a field level of the received signal transmitted from the base station is detected. A determination is made as to whether or not the detected field level of the received signal is equal to or higher than a predetermined field level. The output power of the mobile station is decreased from the designated power level by a predetermined value when the detected field level of the received signal is equal to or higher than the predetermined field level.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 1990Date of Patent: May 18, 1993Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuichi Fujii, Tetsuaki Nakanishi

Patent number: 5129479Abstract: A suspension system includes an engine and transmission assembly mounted transversely in a vehicle and having a main axis of moment of inertia extending in a left and right direction of the vehicle, a single first mount located at a first end of the engine and transmission assembly and at least one additional mount located in the vicinity of an opposite second end of the assembly. The center of gravity of the assembly is located on a main axis of moment of inertia of the assembly extending between the first and second ends and is closer to the first end than to the second end. The mount is a bushing-type mount and is oriented so that the central axis of the mount extends parallel to the main axis of moment of inertia of the assembly so that the mount supports the assembly in a front and rear direction of the vehicle to suppress rocking of the assembly during acceleration and deceleration.Type: GrantFiled: December 11, 1990Date of Patent: July 14, 1992Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yuichi Fujii, Tetsuya Nakayama

Patent number: 5121911Abstract: A finisher for use with a copier, printer or similar image forming apparatus for sorting or otherwise finishing recording sheets sequentially driven out of the apparatus. A positioning member in the form of a fur brush urges paper sheets sequentially delivered from the apparatus to a tray of the finisher to a predetermined position. At this instant, the paper positioning member does not interfere with a shifting motion of the tray.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 1990Date of Patent: June 16, 1992Assignee: Ricoh Company, Ltd.Inventors: Hideo Yamazaki, Kazunori Kubota, Yuichi Fujii

Patent number: 5083760Abstract: A finisher for use with a copier, printer or similar image forming apparatus for stapling or otherwise finishing paper sheets sequentially driven out of the apparatus. A paper sheet is introduced in a stapling section of a stapling device by being switched back, while being accurately guided by a guide member having a sufficient length. The stapling device is movable, independently of jogger fences which position paper sheets, to a particular position which is optimal for the size of stacked paper sheets and the position in which they are used. When a staple error detector detects a stapling error, a discharge path in use is switched over to another path. When a stapled paper stack is discharged, it is deformed in a wave-like configuration in a direction perpendicular to an intended direction of transport to be provided with a certain degree of rigidity. This allows the stapled paper stack to be driven out stably, epecially without being loosened at the discharge side.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 1990Date of Patent: January 28, 1992Assignee: Ricoh Company, Ltd.Inventors: Hideo Yamazaki, Kazunori Kubota, Yuichi Fujii, Mituru Ichikawa, Yukitaka Nakazato
