  • Patent number: 7501029
Abstract: A high-strength, high-permeability steel sheet for picture tube band comprises, in mass percent, C: 0.003-0.010%, Si: 0.5-1.0%, Mn: 1.0-2.0%, P: 0.04-0.15%, S: not more than 0.02%, Al: not more than 0.030%, N: not more than 0.004% and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities, has a chemical composition satisfying C×Mn×P?2.5×10?4, and has a ferrite crystal grain diameter of 10-100 ?m and a yield stress of 300 N/mm2 or higher, and preferably has a specific permeability ?0.35 in a DC magnetic field of 0.35 Oe of 400 or higher. The steel sheet can be produced by regulating the hot-rolling coiling temperature to 600-700° C. and selecting an appropriate combination of the cold rolling reduction ratio and a final annealing temperature in the range of 750-900° C.

  • Publication number: 20010001049
Abstract: A cold-rolled steel strip or hot-dip coated cold-rolled steel strip for use as a fire-proof building member has composition consisting of 0.01-0.25 wt. % C, up to 1.5 wt. % Si, 0.05-2.5 wt. % Mn, up to 0.1 wt. % P, no more than 0.02 wt. % S, 0.005-0.1 wt. % Al, 0.05-1.0 wt. % Mo, optionally 0.005-0.2 wt. % one or more selected from Ti, Nb, V and W, optionally one or more of 0.05-0.6 wt. % Cu, 0.05-0.6 wt. % Ni, 0.05-3.0 wt. % Cr and 0.0003-0.003 wt. % B and the balance being essentially Fe except inevitable impurities. The cold-rolled steel strip is manufactured by hot-rolling, acid-pickling, cold-rolling and then annealing at a temperature above its recrystallization temperature but below 950° C. The hot-dip coated cold-rolled steel strip is manufactured in the same way but in-line heating a cold-rolled steel strip at a temperature above its recrystallization temperature but below 950° C. and then immersing it into a coating bath.

  • Patent number: 4873149
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vibration-damping metal sheet.Conventional vibration-damping metal sheets such as single metal sheets of Mn-Cu base alloys, etc., and sandwich steel sheets having an intermediate plastic material had individually some disadvantages in connection with critical temperatures for use, heat resistance, weldability, conductivity and other properties. In the present invention, metal plates (1) and (2) are joined together through minute inclusions (3) permitted to be substantially uniformly present therebetween and bit thereinto and, optionally, through the diffusion of a portion of the metal plates into which the minute inclusions are bit. At another portion, the metal plates (1) and (2) only come into contact with each other. Metal or ceramic powders, or wiry or network materials may be used as the minute inclusions (3).

  • Patent number: 4360391
Abstract: A process for producing a coil of a hot rolled austenitic steel strip wherein a hot bar of austenitic stainless steel is hot rolled to a strip by multiple pass rolling with a total rolling reduction and finishing temperature controlled within the hatched area of FIG. 1; and wherein the hot rolled strip is allowed to cool in air for 3 to 10 seconds, cooled with water and then coiled at 400.degree. to 600.degree. C. The product has recrystallization substantially completed and sensitization prevented, and therefore, need not be annealed before it is subjected to a pickling process.
