  • Publication number: 20240113643
Abstract: To provide an operation control method, in which a state (water level) of a monitored place (water source) is monitored, and when the state of the monitored place satisfies a predetermined start condition in a standby state where the engine of an engine-driven electric generator stops, an engine is started; the inverter device is caused to perform output to gradually increase a frequency from a predetermined low frequency (e.g., 0 Hz) to a predetermined set frequency (e.g., 60 Hz); and the output of a predetermined steady frequency (e.g., 60 Hz) is continued to be performed. Then, when the state of the monitored place satisfies a predetermined stop condition (lower than the lower limit water level), the inverter device is caused to stop an output and the engine is caused to stop to transit to the standby state.

  • Patent number: 9976884
Abstract: There is provided an electromagnetic flowmeter including a measurement tube through which fluid to be measured flows, a lining which covers an inner side of the measurement tube, electrodes which are respectively inserted into through-holes formed in the lining and which output a detection signal based on an electromotive force generated in the fluid, and a lining wear detection unit which measures a magnitude of a slurry noise included in the detection signal to detect wear of the lining. The electrodes are configured such that a portion in contact with the fluid in a state where the lining has no wear is coated with a porous insulating material. The lining wear detection unit detects the wear of the lining by comparing the magnitude of the measured slurry noise with the magnitude of the slurry noise in the state where the lining has no wear.

  • Patent number: 8216919
Abstract: A substrate carrier structure includes a tray and a secondary electron absorbing material. The tray holds a semiconductor substrate having a first surface on which semiconductor device elements are formed. The secondary electron absorbing material is interposed between the tray and this first surface of the semiconductor substrate. When the semiconductor substrate is irradiated with charged particles to form lattice defects, the secondary electron absorbing material prevents unwanted trapping of secondary electrons emitted from the tray, and thereby reduces the variability of electrical characteristics of semiconductor device elements formed on the semiconductor substrate.

  • Patent number: 7660753
Abstract: In a safety stock control system, safety stock is changed in response to updating of a setting value so as to be continuously maintained as a proper value. The safety stock control system is comprised of a demand prediction means, an actual value calculating means, a predicted remainder calculating means, a parameter calculating means, and a safety stock calculating means for calculating safety stock based upon a parameter calculated by the parameter calculating means. In response to updating of the setting value, data of an area, which is different from such a data read when a plan is made, is temporarily read from a data storage means to the respective means, and then, various sorts of calculating process operations are carried out either one time or plural times.

  • Patent number: 7660730
Abstract: A production plan is created so as to minimize risk of demand variations. Forecasted values of amounts of requests are entered for each different item of products, markets, dates, past accuracy of demand forecasts, and order achievements at the time when the plan is created. Scenario information is created in which assumable amounts of request for each different item of the products, markets, and dates and probabilities at which the amounts of requests agree with actual amounts of requests are defined. Management indexes are found from the amount of stockout and amount of stock calculated in each different scenario, based on the scenario information, target values of the management indexes, and information on strongpoints. An amount of production that maximizes the achievement ratios of the management ratios to their targets within the ranges of supplied materials and within the range of the production capacity is calculated by an optimization algorithm.
