Abstract: A control device of a vehicle comprising: a power transmission device; a rotating member; a parking lock mechanism including a parking gear and a parking pawl; and an operating member, the parking lock mechanism further including a cam, a parking rod, and a spring mechanism, configured in that: the control device includes a vehicle speed control portion to control a vehicle speed such that when the operating member is operated to a parking operating position and the vehicle speed is in a predetermined vehicle speed range determined in advance of a vehicle speed at which a load to be applied to the parking pawl due to collision with the parking gear increases while running of the vehicle, the vehicle speed comes out of the predetermined vehicle speed range.
