  • Patent number: 12779879
Abstract: The ink landed on a print object is quickly irradiated with an ultraviolet ray. An ultraviolet irradiation device includes a rotating mechanism that holds a print object and rotates the print object about an axis of the print object, and an ultraviolet irradiator that irradiates an outer peripheral surface of the print object to which an ultraviolet-curable ink is attached with an ultraviolet ray. The ink ejected from above the print object lands on the outer peripheral surface of the print object. The ultraviolet irradiator is disposed on the side of the print object, and irradiates the outer peripheral surface of the print object with an ultraviolet ray from the side of the print object.

  • Publication number: 20260307400
Abstract: An ultraviolet irradiation device is provided and includes: a rotating mechanism, holding a print object and rotate the print object about an axis thereof; an ultraviolet irradiator, disposed on a side of the print object, and irradiating an outer peripheral surface of the print object with an ultraviolet ray from the side of the print object; a cover, having: an opening through which an upper end portion of the print object is disposed, and a cover portion that covers the ultraviolet irradiator from above; two second covers, configured to close respective portions of the opening from opposite sides in a left-right direction; and a cover position adjustment mechanism, configured to adjust positions of the two second covers in the left-right direction. The two second covers are held so as to be movable in the left-right direction, and positions of the two second covers are adjustable.

  • Publication number: 20260077605
Abstract: Provided are a printing device and a printing method. A printing device 10 includes an ink ejection head 40 that ejects a photocurable ink onto a medium 22 while relatively moving with respect to the medium 22 in a main scanning direction Y, and an irradiation unit 32 that irradiates the medium 22 with light while relatively moving together with the ink ejection head 40. The irradiation unit 32 includes a plurality of LEDs 34 arranged in a sub-scanning direction X intersecting with the main scanning direction Y. The printing device 10 further includes an irradiation control unit 60 that controls the irradiation unit 32 such that turning-on and turning-off of irradiation with the plurality of LEDs 34 are repeatedly performed in a predetermined order during one cycle in which the ink ejection head 40 and the irradiation unit 32 relatively move in the main scanning direction Y.

  • Patent number: 12122149
Abstract: The disclosure optimizes suction force. An inkjet printing apparatus (1) includes a suction table (2) having a placement surface (21a) for the medium (M); a blower (52) that generates a suction force on the placement surface (21a); and a control device (55) that controls a suction force generated by the blower (52). The control device (55) includes a switcher (553) that switches the suction force to generate, where when the medium (M) is placed on the placement surface (21a), the switcher (553) drives the blower (52) at a first output level to generate a first suction force, and suctions the medium (M) placed on the placement surface (21a). Thereafter, the blower (52) is driven at the second output level lower than the first output level to generate the second suction force weaker than the first suction force, thereby suctioning the medium M placed on the placement surface (21a).
