Abstract: A medium feeding device includes a storage unit that stores media in a form of a sheet, a delivery unit that is disposed downstream in a medium delivery direction relative to the media stored in the storage unit and that delivers the media individually, a transfer unit that is disposed above the storage unit and that adheres by suction to each of the media stored in the storage unit and transfers the media to the delivery unit, and a fluffing unit that is disposed beside the media stored in the storage unit in a direction intersecting the medium delivery direction. The fluffing unit fluffs an upper-side region of the media in a state of being separated, by blowing air toward a side of the media during a feeding job of the media and during a post-feeding period that is a predetermined period after completion of the feeding job.

Abstract: A printer includes a data obtaining unit, a storage unit, an engine, and a printing unit. The data obtaining unit obtains, from print data stored in the storage unit, print data for sheets less than the maximum number of sheets dischargeable to a discharge tray as target print data and sends the target print data to the engine via the printing unit. The target print data includes first print data of odd pages and second print data of even pages. After printing the first print data on one side of sheets fed from a feed tray and discharges the sheets onto the discharge tray, the engine prints the second print data on the other side of the sheets manually returned from the discharge tray to the feed tray.

Abstract: A terminal apparatus, a consumables residual quantity display program, and a recording medium are disclosed. The terminal apparatus, which is connected to a printing apparatus through a network, includes an acquisition unit for acquiring information about consumables of the printing apparatus from the printing apparatus; and a display controller for displaying the information about the consumables, which information is acquired by the acquisition unit, if the information of at least one item of the consumables fulfills a predetermined condition. The display controller may display a no-display specifying screen that prompts a user to specify whether a “no-display” mode should be activated, in which “no-display” mode, displaying the information about the consumables is stopped even if the predetermined condition is fulfilled when the information is to be acquired by the acquisition unit at a next time.

A selection unit performs automatic selection of an image-forming apparatus which is capable of performing the scan processing under the scanning conditions specified in the setting option screen. A control unit causes the image-forming apparatus chosen by the automatic selection of the selection unit, to perform the scan processing under the scanning conditions specified in the setting option screen.

Abstract: An image data processing terminal equipment coupled to an external device includes a data processing part for carrying out a predetermined data process for data, and a communication part for transferring data between the data processing terminal equipment and the external device. The terminal equipment also includes a memory for storing data, and a data write part for writing data supplied, through the communication part, from the external device into the memory part in accordance with a write command produced and output by the external device. Further, the terminal equipment includes a data read out part for reading out the data from the memory part and for supplying the data to the external device through the communication part in accordance with a read command produced and output by the external device.
