  • Publication number: 20170257525
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a reading control unit, an extractor, an acquirer, an operation acceptance unit, and a storage control unit. The reading control unit reads a printed material containing a digital watermark to obtain image data of the printed material. The extractor extracts, from the digital watermark contained in the image data, first storage-location information indicating a storage location where electronic source data of the printed material is stored. The acquirer acquires the electronic source data from the storage location indicated by the first storage-location information. The operation acceptance unit displays pieces of to-be-acquired information that are a unit of information acquired from the electronic source data, and accepts an operation input specifying selection of at least one piece of to-be-acquired information. The storage control unit stores the selected piece of to-be-acquired information in a storage location indicated by second storage-location information.

  • Patent number: 6784998
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a sheet-material foreign-matter detecting method and apparatus capable of securely detecting foreign matter attached to a sheet material. That is, the foreign matter attached to the sheet material is detected by applying light emitted from a light source to a sheet material, by picking up a light-source image reflected to the surface of the sheet material by image pickup means, and by judging a difference between brightnesses of a reflected image due to a difference between reflectances of the sheet material and the foreign matter.

  • Patent number: 5737383
Abstract: A tire includes at least a pair of breaker plies each having a plurality of wire codes of different orientation. In a tire testing apparatus, a tire is loaded to a test position and electromagnetic wave having a wavelength equal to or shorter than X-ray is irradiated to transmit a tread surface of one of test portions of the tire loaded at the test position. A detector detects the electromagnetic wave to produce a test image signal. A measuring section executes a processing of at least one test item on the pair of breaker plies to a test image data and automatically determines whether the test position of the tire is defective or non-defective, from the processing result of the test image data.
