  • Publication number: 20160092436
Abstract: A glossary management device includes a read circuit, a storage circuit, an acquisition circuit, an analysis circuit, a term matching circuit, and a registration circuit. The storage circuit has a storage area for a glossary. The acquisition circuit acquires text data of a document if reading of the document is executed by a user. The analysis circuit performs analysis of the text data acquired by the acquisition circuit to identify a language of the document and parts of speech of text segments in the text data and extracts one or more text segments from the document based on the analysis. The term matching circuit performs matching for each of the extracted text segments against a public dictionary. The registration circuit adds to the glossary, each extracted text segment that does not match any entry term in the public dictionary.

  • Publication number: 20160065752
Abstract: A device management apparatus includes a communication processing circuit and a service support processing circuit. The communication processing circuit receives device state information transmitted from a first operator. The device state information indicates device state information of the electronic device. The first operator performs solution work to a failure of the electronic device. The service support processing circuit determines a category into which the device state information is classified from the received device state information. The service support processing unit searches a database for a second operator or a candidate for the second operator. The second operator has solved a failure belonging to the determined category. The database stores operator information including a solution result of a failure of each operator.

  • Publication number: 20160065787
Abstract: A read image capturing system includes a reading device, a read image capturing circuit, and a signature managing circuit. The reading device reads an image from an original document. The read image capturing circuit captures the read image read by the reading device. The signature managing circuit manages a signature image for causing the read image capturing circuit to capture the read image as a signature capturing image for each user. The read image capturing circuit that captures the read image in association with a user who is associated with the signature capturing image by the signature managing circuit, the signature capturing image having a similarity degree with the signature image included in the read image equal to or more than a similarity degree for capture.

  • Publication number: 20160062293
Abstract: A device management apparatus includes an information acquisition circuit, a supply target setting circuit, a supply time prediction circuit, and a simultaneous supply target setting circuit. The supply target setting circuit sets the expendables in a supply requiring time as a supply target of the replenishing or replacement. The supply time prediction circuit predicts a supply requiring time for an expendable other than the supply target of the plurality of expendables based on the acquired information. The simultaneous supply target setting circuit sets the expendable the predicted supply requiring time of which is within a range of a specific identical time period to the supply requiring time for the supply target as a simultaneous supply target. The simultaneous supply target is replenishing or replacement to be supplied to the identical supply destination together with the replenishing or replacement to be supplied to the supply target.

  • Publication number: 20160019010
Abstract: A device management apparatus includes a set content collection circuit and a set content notification circuit. The set content collection circuit collects set contents of a plurality of electronic devices. The set content notification circuit notifies the set contents collected by the set content collection circuit. The set content notification circuit notifies a specific number of set contents with highest ranks in counts of electronic devices having an identical set content.

  • Publication number: 20150339487
Abstract: Provided is a document managing apparatus that can eliminate the complexity of operation related to designation of confidential information, and yet reliably prevents leakage of confidential information. First, a receiving circuit receives target files from a client terminal. Therefore, a file managing circuit manages, of the received target files, a file that is designated as confidential, having been subjected to output restriction, as a confidential designated file. In addition, the file managing circuit manages a file that is not designated as confidential, as a user file. In addition, the file analyzing circuit compares the user file with the confidential designated file. If the content of the user file is similar to the content of the confidential designated file at a rate equal to or higher than a certain value (for example, 80%), the file analyzing circuit applies output restriction to the user file.

  • Publication number: 20150309977
Abstract: A document management apparatus includes a reading circuit, a storage circuit, and a control circuit. The control circuit has: a character string registration mode that causes the reading circuit to read the document, detects a character string to be annotated based on a position of the read marking, searches the note of the detected character string in a dictionary, and causes the storage circuit to store the detected character string and the searched note to register the character string, and a sentence output mode that accepts a sentence, collates the accepted sentence with the character string stored in the storage circuit, obtains the note of the character string found to be matched by the collation, and makes the obtained note correspond to the matched character string to output the obtained note together with the sentence, so as to output the sentence.
