Patent number: 8651548Abstract: A moving apparatus forcefully closes a movable body after moving the movable body to a prescribed position and includes first and second sliders and an impelling device. After the movable body has been opened, the first slider is locked in position and the second slider is attached to the movable body. As the movable body is being closed and moved to the prescribed position, the second slider moves relative to the first slider tensioning the impelling device. Once the movable body has reached the prescribed position, the second slider releases the movable body and is locked in position, and the first slider is attached to the movable body. The impelling device then urges the first and second sliders towards one another causing the movable body to close.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2008Date of Patent: February 18, 2014Assignee: Nifco Inc.Inventor: Yuichi Shirase

Publication number: 20090079215Abstract: A moving apparatus forcefully moves a movable body backward up to the position at the end of backward movement after moving it backward to a prescribed position during backward movement, and it has a pair of sliders having first slider and a second slider and an impelling device. In the position before forward movement of the movable body, the second slider is locked against sliding and the first slider is made free to slide by catching a first engaging part, and in the position at the end of forward movement of the movable body, the first slider is locked against sliding by a first slide lock part in a state having released the first engaging part, and the second slider is made free to slide in a state having caught the second engaging part.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 3, 2008Publication date: March 26, 2009Applicant: NIFCO INC.Inventor: Yuichi Shirase

Patent number: 6923398Abstract: A winding mechanism retains a sheet material in a state in which the sheet material can be pulled out. The winding mechanism includes a flexible sheet material, a winding shaft attached to one end of the sheet material, a force application device that always applies a force to the winding shaft in a normal direction in which the sheet material is wound around the winding shaft, and a braking device that applies a braking force to the winding shaft only in the normal direction. In other words, the winding mechanism applies an appropriate braking force to the winding shaft when the sheet material is wound, but does not apply a braking force to the winding shaft when the sheet material is pulled out.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 2003Date of Patent: August 2, 2005Assignee: Nifco Inc.Inventors: Akio Kosugi, Yuichi Shirase, Tohru Sambommatsu

Patent number: 6913414Abstract: A holding mechanism for a rotating member includes a main member having a rotating shaft; a leg member rotationally attached to the rotating shaft to change from a housed state to a stand-up state; and a stopper formed on the main member at a position away from the rotating shaft. The stopper holds the stand-up state of the leg member. The leg member in the stand-up state can be rotated to the housed state by pushing the leg member.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2002Date of Patent: July 5, 2005Assignee: Nifco Inc.Inventors: Mitsuyoshi Ono, Hirofumi Ooyama, Hiroshi Ishiyama, Yuichi Shirase

Patent number: 6685152Abstract: A container holder includes a case and a tray. The tray is provided with an opening portion for allowing a container to be inserted therein, and a holder member for holding the container. The holder member is supported in the opening portion. The holder member is raised and fallen down by a stand-up-fall-down device, while a portion of the holding member facing an opening of the case slides relative to the opening.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2002Date of Patent: February 3, 2004Assignee: Nifco Inc.Inventors: Yuichi Shirase, Kunio Kiyohara, Takanobu Nakaguro

Patent number: 6669248Abstract: A latch includes an attaching part rotationally attached to an attached part, a base plate connected to the attaching part to rotate together with the attaching part on the attached part, and a push-push type cam part connected to the base plate on a side opposite to the attaching part. Elastic pieces are formed to cooperate with the base plate for locating the base plate to a predetermined position while allowing the base plate to rotate together with the attaching part.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2002Date of Patent: December 30, 2003Assignee: Nifco Inc.Inventor: Yuichi Shirase

Patent number: 6012886Abstract: A toilet seat attachment structure is used for attaching a toilet seat unit on a toilet bowl. The structure includes a bolt with an axis portion, an abutting member disposed around the axis portion, an expanding member situated adjacent to the abutting member, and a nut member situated adjacent to the expanding member and engaging the axis portion. The abutting member has a shaft portion with a through-hole, and a flange formed on an upper periphery of the shaft portion. The axis portion passes through the abutting member and the expanding member, and engages the nut member. A friction member is disposed outside the expanding member. When the bolt is rotated, the nut member ascends on the axis portion, so that the expanding member gradually expands the diameter. Accordingly, the frictional member is enlarged to frictionally engage with an attachment hole of a toilet bowl.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 1998Date of Patent: January 11, 2000Assignees: Nifco Inc., Aisin Seiki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yushi Tanamura, Toshiyuki Torii, Yuichi Shirase
