Patent number: 8905639Abstract: A main bearing for a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine is composed of a pair of semi-cylindrical bearings. An oil groove extending in a circumferential direction is formed on an inner circumferential surface of one semi-cylindrical bearing. The oil groove has the depth gradually decreasing toward a circumferential end surface of the one semi-cylindrical bearing, and defines a circumferential end portion on the circumferential surface without extending to an axial groove formed in a joint portion of the pair of semi-cylindrical bearings. An extension portion of the inner circumferential surface extends between the circumferential end portion and the axial groove, and a plurality of circumferential grooves extending in the circumferential direction is formed on the extension portion from the oil groove to the axial groove over an entire width of the circumferential end portion of the oil groove.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2013Date of Patent: December 9, 2014Assignee: Daido Metal Company Ltd.Inventors: Osamu Ishigo, Yuichi Tomita, Motohira Yamada

Patent number: 8876391Abstract: A main bearing for a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine comprises a pair of semi-cylindrical bearings. An oil groove extends on an inner circumferential surface of one semi-cylindrical bearing in a circumferential direction so that the center thereof in an axial direction aligns with that of an inlet opening of a lubricating oil path in a journal section of the crankshaft. The oil groove does not extend up to an axial direction groove formed at a joint portion of the semi-cylindrical bearings so that a separation inner circumferential surface extends between a circumferential direction end portion of the oil groove and the axial direction groove. The length of the separation inner circumferential surface is smaller than that of the inlet opening in the circumferential direction.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2012Date of Patent: November 4, 2014Assignee: Daido Metal Company Ltd.Inventors: Osamu Ishigo, Yuichi Tomita, Motohira Yamada

Patent number: 8147144Abstract: A connecting rod bearing for internal combustion engines of a forced-feed lubrication type crank shaft is provided, consisting semicircular bearings. An inner surface of the semicircular bearings is provided with a circumferential groove formed on the inner surface within a maximum circumferential angle range of 45 degrees, measured from one circumferential end facing the same direction as a rotational direction of the crankpin toward a circumferential center region of the semicircular bearing, each of the semicircular bearings having two circumferential ends which are of butt ends brought into contact with those of a mating semicircular bearing. In an assembled state, an axial groove is formed on an inner surface of the semicircular bearings so as to extend along the butt end throughout a full length between both axial ends of the semicircular bearing, whereby the axial groove, as a lubricant-oil flow channel, is connected with the circumferential groove.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2008Date of Patent: April 3, 2012Assignee: Daido Metal Company Ltd.Inventors: Osamu Ishigo, Yuichi Tomita, Aisuke Kuwabara, Kouki Wakita

Patent number: 4658257Abstract: A radar system includes a clock for generating timing signals of a predetermined period, an exciter for generating high frequency signals of predetermined frequencies in sequence and in time series in response to the timing signals, a transfer switch and an antenna. The transfer switch has an input terminal and a plurality of output terminals. The input terminal receives the high frequency signals and provides one of these high frequency signals at each of its outputs in accordance with the received timing signals. The antenna is connected to receive the high frequency signals from the output terminals of the transfer switch to form radar beams corresponding to the high frequency signals.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 1984Date of Patent: April 14, 1987Assignee: NEC CorporationInventors: Toshiyuki Izutani, Yuichi Tomita, Hiroshi Yokoyama

Patent number: 4654665Abstract: A radar system comprises means for forming a transmission pulse signal as m sets of n pulses, the individual sets having respective PRPs Ti (i=1, 2, . . . , m) moving target detection means, and angle measurement means utilizing beam-to-beam amplitude comparison and interpolation for a given moving target. Beam-to-beam amplitude comparison and interpolation is carried out at least twice for one target by making use of a pair of video signals with the same PRP processed by the moving target detection means. The angle measurement is achieved through a predetermined correlation processing over thus obtained interpolated angle values for a target.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 1984Date of Patent: March 31, 1987Assignee: NEC CorporationInventors: Eiichi Kiuchi, Yuichi Tomita, Toshiyuki Izutani

Patent number: 4053885Abstract: A moving target indication radar is disclosed in which the zero-Doppler-speed components of the radar return signal are eliminated by correlation processing in the azimuthal direction. In some cases, a similar correlation processing is concurrently performed in the range direction. The moving target indication radar has both a radar signal analog processing portion and a radar signal digital processing portion. The received pulse returns are processed by quadrature phase detectors to provide outputs which are in phase and quadrature phase analog data signals representing real and imaginary parts of the Doppler frequency data. These signals are converted to corresponding digital words which are then divided into a plurality of digital Doppler frequency components by a discrete Fourier transform circuit. A buffer memory is connected to store the outputs of the discrete Fourier transform circuit.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 1976Date of Patent: October 11, 1977Assignee: Nippon Electric Company, Ltd.Inventors: Yuichi Tomita, Takeru Irabu, Eiichi Kiuchi
