  • Publication number: 20040137917
Abstract: A communication system adopts communication means having a small effective communication range for communication between mobile terminals and a server functioning as a cell station, so that each server is responsible for a small range only. In this manner, the communication system produces information about how servers are distributed on the network based on the geographic location of each server, thereby pre-delivering the information about such geographic locations and estimating how much and when data is to be delivered based on the positional relationship between servers and mobile terminals for load sharing.

  • Patent number: 6577308
Abstract: In computer graphics, polygons constituting two polygon models are matched to realize spontaneous morphing. Each of first and second polygon models is split into corresponding parts, such as ear, eye or face, and polygons making up a part of the first polygon model are matched to polygons making up a part of the second polygon corresponding to the first-stated part. A connection relational graph, as a two-dimensional graph representing the connection relation between polygons making up the respective parts, is prepared from the two matched parts, and the connection relational graphs of the two matched parts are rendered co-morphic to match the polygons constituting the two parts.

  • Publication number: 20020108694
Abstract: Two glass sheets are moved in a horizontal direction between a first stage and a second stage by a pushing and pulling device while having a certain gap maintained between the two glass sheets by a holder and having lower edge surfaces of the two glass sheets supported by a guide. A die is provided between the first stage and the second stage so as to be movable in a vertical direction. A resin material is injected in a peripheral edge between the two glass sheets by injecting the resin material from the die onto the peripheral edge between the glass sheets while carrying out alternatively the horizontal movement of the two glass sheets and the vertical movement of the die. A double glazing unit is prepared by forming a resin spacer in the peripheral edge between the two glass sheets while maintaining the certain gap between the two glass sheets.

  • Publication number: 20020089507
Abstract: A base animation storing unit stores base animation, generated for each grid point in a range of adaptation with regard to a certain motion. A synthesizing unit starts adaptation motion synthesizing in the event that an end effector exists within the range of adaptation. The synthesizing unit calculates a weight array based on the position of a target and the position of each grid point, and adds base animation with the calculation results as linear addition coefficients, thereby generating the desired animation. Accordingly, animation cooperatively display with multiple objects of display can be effectively generated.

  • Publication number: 20020067363
Abstract: An animation generating unit supplies start requests for entire animation and synthesizing requests for partial animation to an interpolating computation unit, based on input events. The interpolating computation unit extracts the entire animation data and partial animation data from the entire animation storing unit and the partial animation storing unit, respectively, sequentially executes interpolation computation under timer output, generates new animation data, and outputs the newly-generated animation data to an animation display unit. Thus, animation can be efficiently generated.

  • Patent number: 5132330
Abstract: A method for manufacturing expandable styrene type polymer particles is disclosed, which comprises the steps of adding a styrene type monomer to styrene type polymer seed particles suspended in an aqueous dispersing medium, continuously or intermittently to be polymerized while being absorbed thereby, and impregnating the resulting polymer particles with an easily volatile blowing agent to obtain expandable styrene type polymer particles, the improvement wherein styrene type polymer particles whose weight-average molecular weight (Mw.sub.1) is not more than 2/3 of the weight-average molecular weight (Mw.sub.2) of the resulting polymer particles are used as said styrene type polymer particles. The present invention provides expandable styrene type polymer particles excellent in moldability and foamed articles high in strength and fine in external appearance.
