  • Patent number: 11124128
Abstract: A display control device generates a display image including an image obtained by reducing a predetermined range in a captured image based on an image captured by an image capturing device, and causes the display device to display the display image. In an adjustment mode, the display control device generates a computer graphics (CG) for allowing a user to set a range included in the display image and causes the display device to display the computer graphics. The CG indicates a range displayed in a reduced state and a range displayed without being reduced in a range included in the display image in different aspects.

  • Patent number: 11105923
Abstract: A driving support apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a memory and a hardware processor coupled to the memory and a sound wave sensor. The hardware processor is configured to select, as a transmission and reception scheme, either a pulse scheme or a spread spectrum modulation scheme, and control the sound wave sensor with the selected transmission and reception scheme. When the spread spectrum modulation scheme is selected as the transmission and reception scheme, the hardware processor causes the sound wave sensor to successively transmit and receive sound waves by using the spread spectrum modulation scheme.

  • Publication number: 20170291550
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to prevent screen flicker when the screen of an on-board electronic mirror changes at a high speed, and to provide optimal information to a user. An on-board electronic minor (10), which is mounted on a vehicle, is provided with: a camera (100) for capturing images of the periphery of the vehicle; a video signal processing circuit (101) for processing the video captured by the camera (100); a monitor (105) for displaying the images processed by the video signal processing circuit (101); sensors (107-111) that are recounted on the vehicle and that detect an event during travel of the vehicle; and a video signal change circuit (103) and a video signal control circuit (112) that, on the basis of the detection results of the sensors (107-111), perform control for changing the video captured by the camera (100) to different video.

  • Patent number: 7739437
Abstract: A priority control value, which is smaller as the priority of access by each of requesters is higher, decreases with the lapse of time when an access request is issued. When the access is completed, the priority control value increases by a priority decrease value (PERIOD). When there is no access request, the priority control value decreases to a reference priority value (TMIN) and is then maintained at the reference priority value. Access permission is given to the one of the requesters issuing requests which has the smallest priority control value. As a result, proper arbitration is performed at a high speed with a simple hardware configuration.

  • Publication number: 20090109810
Abstract: A recording/reproduction apparatus includes a first recording medium (a flash memory) having a first time that is required for the first recording medium to go from a low-power consumption state to a state in which recorded video data can be read out, and a second recording medium (an HDD or a DVD drive) having a second time that is required for the second recording medium to go from a low-power consumption state to a state in which recorded video data can be read out, where the second time is longer than the first time. When a video content is reproduced from the second recording medium in the low-power consumption state, the first recording medium is caused to go to a readable state while the second recording medium is not in a readable state, and a leading portion of the content is reproduced from the first recording medium.

  • Publication number: 20080320046
Abstract: Feature amount information of video data in a hard disk is calculated by a decoder and a feature amount extraction section. An icon reflecting the feature amount information is generated by an icon generation section and is presented to the user. A feature amount index control section pairs the feature amount information received from the feature amount extraction section with a position in the hard disk of the video data, and records the pair as index information, so that the speed of image retrieval is improved.

  • Publication number: 20040247032
Abstract: An arithmetic operation means sequentially calculates estimation errors for respective candidate blocks based on pixel data of an odd-numbered or even-numbered field of a reference image frame and pixel data of an odd-numbered or even-numbered field of a current image block. A field comparator obtains the minimum estimation error from among the calculated estimation errors to detect a field motion vector. An AE storage stores a plurality of estimation errors calculated by the arithmetic operation means for one of predetermined combinations. An adder adds together the estimation errors calculated by the arithmetic operation means and a corresponding one of the plurality of estimation errors stored in the AE storage to calculate estimation errors on a frame-by-frame basis. A frame comparator obtains the minimum estimation error from among the estimation errors calculated on a frame-by-frame basis to detect a frame motion vector.
