  • Publication number: 20130335751
Abstract: A region projected with pattern light in an image sensed by an image sensing unit which senses an image of a target object projected with pattern light is specified. Geometric features of the target object are searched for from a region other than the region projected with the pattern light in the sensed image based on the specified region. A position and orientation of the target object are derived based on the searched geometric features of the target object and geometric features of a model of the target object.

  • Publication number: 20130298077
Abstract: A display control apparatus which is capable of accurately designating a reference point, which is to be a reference for scaling to a desired one, on a map screen without burdening a user. One or more objects, with which position information is associated, are displayed at positions based on the position information on a map image in a display area. At least one of the one or more objects displayed in the display area is specified as a reference object. When an instruction for enlarging a display range of the map image is received, a display range of the map image after scaling is controlled so that the reference object can be displayed within the display area even after scaling.

  • Publication number: 20130050256
Abstract: When two objects have overlapping without the intervention of another object, it is determined that the two objects are in contact with each other. Then, a second object, which reaches a state having overlapping with a first object and then reaches a state having overlapping again via a state without any overlapping during movement of the first object, is detected. When it is determined that the first and second objects are in contact with each other before and after the state without any overlapping, an information processing apparatus interchanges a hierarchical relation in Z-orders of the first and second objects.

  • Publication number: 20120235897
Abstract: One of the aspects of the disclosure is directed to displaying an image according to attribute information thereof in a display area having a time axis based on an item of predetermined attribute information, and when changing a display range on the time axis, allowing a user to easily designate a point to be a reference thereof. An information processing apparatus according to the present invention displays an image in the display area having the time axis according to date and time information of the image. The information processing apparatus moves a mouse cursor on the display area according to a user's operation, and sets a reference after the display range is changed.

  • Publication number: 20090070669
Abstract: An image management apparatus for managing a plurality of images is configured to manage image files so that an image used as a search key, which is of importance to a user, can be displayed with priority according to a high-visibility layout. A plurality of images are assigned priority levels. The images are arranged at positions corresponding to pieces of time information of the images and the assigned priority levels, and are displayed in a display area having a time axis. The priority levels are assigned by classifying the images according to differences between the pieces of time information.
