Abstract: Provided is a transfer ink jet recording method, which provides satisfactory transferability and satisfactory wet scratch resistance of a final image even at high printing duty. The transfer ink jet recording method includes using an aggregation liquid, in which the aggregation liquid includes a polymer compound including one of a polyamino acid and a polyamino acid salt each having an amino group, each of which is obtained by polymerization of an amino acid compound represented by the general formula (1).
