Sealing mechanism for a cylindrical container opening using a cap having a cap body and an upper lid
Patent number: 8757410Abstract: A sealing mechanism for a container opening having a cylindrical opening disposed on a container body and a cap for sealing the cylindrical opening. The cap includes a screw-on cap body and an upper lid for sealing the cylindrical opening. The cap body and the upper lid are independent of each other so that the cap body can be rotated without rotating the upper lid and are engaged by a concave/convex portion. When the cap body is moved away from the container, the cap body slidably abuts on the upper lid, and pushes up the upper lid to open the cylindrical opening, and when the cap body moves toward the container, the cap abuts on the upper lid and pulls down the upper lid to re-seal the cylindrical opening.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 2006Date of Patent: June 24, 2014Assignee: Hosokawa Yoko Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroaki Takashima, Yuichiro Moriyama, Susumu Niwa, Kazuhiro Umenaka -
Patent number: 8561860Abstract: An improved pour spout member having a base attached to a packaging bag, a tubular neck having a tip opening sealed by a sealing member, and a lid member having an upper end connected to the sealing member and covering an outer periphery of the tubular neck. The lid member includes expandable lid segments having upper ends connected to a portion integral with the sealing member and, between the expandable lid segments in a collapsed state and a portion integral with the tubular neck, there is provided a rotation locking mechanism enabling temporary restriction of the lid member.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2009Date of Patent: October 22, 2013Assignee: Hosokawa Yoko Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuichiro Moriyama, Kazuyoshi Shirai, Yasumasa Tanaka, Tomonari Shinohara, Toshiharu Yoshida, Mayumi Oomori, Takeshi Tsutsumi

Patent number: 8068198Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes: a display with an array substrate having scanning and data lines and an IC chip driving liquid crystal, and a color filter substrate; a light-detector having an optical sensor integrated in the display detecting external light; a detection circuit connected via sensor laid-around lines connecting to light-detector lines; an illuminator illuminating the display panel; and a controller controlling the illuminator based on the detection circuit's output. The data lines are distributed to the chip-mounting area and have terminals at an end for connecting to IC chip bump terminals. Leader lines distribute from the terminals toward the chip-mounting area and have inspection terminals at their ends. Sensor inspection lines connect at one end to the sensor laid-around lines and extend at the other end to the chip-mounting area. Sensor detection terminals are formed at the other end of the sensor inspection lines.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2009Date of Patent: November 29, 2011Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Yuichiro Moriyama, Takashi Kunimori

Publication number: 20110147415Abstract: [Problems to be Solved]: In the case of the pour spout member of prior art in which an inner stopple provided within the tubular neck must be by a handgrip attached to the inner stopple must be pulled out to open the pour spout. With such arrangement, there is a problem that not only operation of opening the pour spout is troublesome but it is sanitarily apprehended that the user's hand might come in contact with the pour spout. In the case of the pour spout member of prior art in which the sealing is broken by rotating the cap, there is anxiety that the cap might be unintentionally rotated, for example, in the course of transit.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 8, 2009Publication date: June 23, 2011Applicant: HOSOKAWA YOKO CO., LTD.Inventors: Yuichiro Moriyama, Kazuyoshi Shirai, Yasumasa Tanaka, Tomonari Shinohara, Toshiharu Yoshida, Mayumi Oomori, Takeshi Tsutsumi

Patent number: 7959045Abstract: A spout assembly for a packaging bag for improving the prevention of oxidation to an inner content and discharging such content at a desired amount. The spout assembly mounted to the bag body includes a spool to move along the axial direction of the spout assembly and an urging member having an outer peripheral surface fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the spout assembly and adapted to urge the spool toward the bag body side. A check valve allows the inner content to flow only from the bag body side toward the mouth portion side. The urging member has a seat surface for the spool and the urging member presses the spool against the seat surface to shut off the flow of the inner content, and when an inner pressure of the bag body or a suction force of the mouth reaches a predetermined value, the spool separates from the seat surface.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 2005Date of Patent: June 14, 2011Assignees: Hosokawa Yoko Co., Ltd., Shirouma Saiensu Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Raizo Kuge, Hiroaki Takashima, Yuichiro Moriyama
