  • Patent number: 5249983
Abstract: An electrical connector main body has a pair of mounting portions provided on both sides of a fitting portion which fits into a mating connector. A nut-placing recess is provided on an upper surface of each of the mounting portions. A parallel pair of slit-like apertures are provided on both sides of each of the nut-placing recess. Each of the nut-placing recess has at the bottom thereof a bolt-inserting aperture, and at least a pair of grooves which are oppositely provided on an internal surface of the bolt-inserting aperture along its axial line. A nut is fitted into the nut-placing recess and a bolt for fastening a printed wiring board is inserted into the bolt-inserting aperture so that the bolt can be screwed into the nut.

  • Patent number: 5228873
Abstract: A electrical connector main body of a metallic-shell-equipped connector has a pair of right and left mounting portions, and each of the mounting portions has a perforation on its upper end. An electrically conductive nut-like member is fitted into the perforation. An electrically conductive plate member or an electrically conductive mounting member is fitted into the perforation in contact with an end surface of the nut-like member. A metallic shell which has projections on its internal surface is fitted onto or into a surface of the connector main body so that the projections contact the periphery of the nut-like member. Part of the electrically conductive plate member or an electrically conductive mounting member is electrically connected to an electrically conducting portion of a printed wiring board by bolting or by soldering.

  • Patent number: 5027431
Abstract: A radio communication apparatus includes a device for sequentially discriminating whether or not different frequency channels are open or occupied and generating channel-condition signals representative thereof during each of cycles of a channel scan. The channel-condition signals correspond to the channels respectively. A device holds the channel-condition signals and thereafter outputs the channel-condition signals. A device detects a variation between a current channel-condition signal and a preceding channel-condition signal in respect of each of the channels. The current channel-condition signal is currently generated by the discriminating device. The preceding channel-condition signal is outputted from the holding device. A device detects whether or not a given identification signal is present in the channel where the detected variation occurs.

  • Patent number: 4913660
Abstract: A pressure contact type connector for a flat cable wherein each conductor wire is pressed into U-shaped terminal members arranged in a first row and a second row. The terminal members in each of the first and second rows are disposed to form a zigzag arrangement having a pitch twice as large as the pitch of the conductor wires of the cable. The cable is arranged in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the terminal members. Each one of the terminal members in a first row is disposed to be shifted by one conductor wire arrangement pitch with respect to the corresponding one in the second row. A first cable housing includes a height at least equal to the length of a portion of the terminal member projecting out of an end surface of the contact housing and includes insertion through holes for the terminal members and a plurality of grooves disposed to cross the insertion through holes for receiving the terminal members and the conductor wire connecting portions for pressing into the terminal members.
