  • Publication number: 20240150522
Abstract: Provided is a water-repellent member in which a silica layer having a specific thickness and mainly composed of silica nanoparticles is provided on the outer surfaces of various substrates, and then a water- and oil-repellent layer having a specific thickness and containing a cured product of a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound as a main component is provided on the outer surface of the silica layer. The water-repellent member is obtained by a method comprising: a step for wet coating a dispersion containing silica nanoparticles and a solvent onto the outer surface of a substrate; a step for drying and removing the solvent from the dispersion; a step for wet coating a solution containing a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound and a solvent onto the outer surface of a silica layer formed by drying and removing the solvent; and a step for drying and removing the solvent from the solution to cure the fluorine-containing organosilicon compound.

  • Patent number: 10415645
Abstract: A torque transmission shaft between end joints and a cylindrical member. Circlips are fitted in annular grooves formed in the end joints. The circlips abut and lock the outer collars. The outer collars each include a smaller diameter portion, and an end surface of the smaller diameter portion includes a plurality of hollow portions. The hollow portions allow a clearance between a serrated portion and the smaller diameter portion to communicate with the exterior of the outer collar. Air bubbles contained in an adhesive are allowed to escape out of the clearance through the hollow portions, and thus the clearance, is filled with the adhesive densely.

  • Patent number: 10138925
Abstract: An FRP drive shaft includes an end joint joined to at least one end of an FRP cylinder via an outer collar. The end joint includes a serrated portion on an outer periphery thereof. The outer collar includes a small-diameter collar portion and a large-diameter collar portion. The serrated portion is press-fitted into an inner periphery of the FRP cylinder and fixed to an inner periphery of the small-diameter collar portion. A gap between an inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and an outer periphery of the FRP cylinder is filled with an adhesive for fixing the inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and the outer periphery of the FRP cylinder to each other. An adhesive-accumulating space which partially increases a filling amount of the adhesive is formed between the inner periphery of the large-diameter collar portion and the outer periphery of the FRP cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20180003242
Abstract: A torque transmission shaft is configured having increased coupling strength between end joints and a cylindrical member to achieve high transmission torque. Misalignment and disengagement of outer collars (connection members) is effectively prevented in the step of press fitting the torque transmission shaft to another component, such as a constant velocity joint. Air bubbles contained in an adhesive are allowed to escape out of the clearance through the hollow portions, and thus the clearance is filled with the adhesive densely.

  • Patent number: 7668626
Abstract: An operation machine displays a received image on a monitor to enable an operator to remotely control a moving unit such as a model car and robotic arms through the image provided through a network by a camera on the unit and displayed on the monitor. Plotting of the received image on the monitor is conducted at predetermined intervals in plotting timing. The plotted image becomes a predicted image subjected to a time delay process. The moving unit carrying the camera is disposed in a remote area, and connected to a personal computer through the Internet to transmit motion pictures to the computer. At this time, a fluctuation correction is made to data of the motion pictures to provide a method of displaying a natural image. The method is employed in a moving unit's remote control system enabling an operator to enjoy a precise remote control of the unit.
