Abstract: A reinforced hose has an inner tube made of rubber, an inner reinforcing layer made of aromatic polyamide yarn formed on the inner tube, an intermediate layer made of rubber formed on the inner reinforcing layer, an outer reinforcing layer made of synthetic yarn formed on the intermediate layer which has a heat shrinkage ratio at dried condition of over about 0.5% due to the temperature of a curing process, and a covering layer made of rubber being formed on the outer reinforcing layer. By providing the inner reinforcing layer of aromatic polyamide yarn, the reinforced hose of the present invention has a high stretching strength. Furthermore, by making the outer reinforcing layer of synthetic yarn, which has a heat shrinkage ratio at dried condition of over about 0.5% due to the temperature of a curing process, the reinforced hose of the present invention can hardly be expanded by the pressure of inside fluid.

Abstract: A reinforced hose including an inner pipe layer, an intermediate reinforcing layer and an outer pipe layer, each of the inner and outer pipe layers being made of synthetic rubber having a polarity at least at the surface thereof which contacts the intermediate reinforcing layer. The intermediate reinforcing layer is coated with nitrile rubber or a blended material of nitrile rubber and a high-molecular material.

Abstract: A hose intermediate retainer according to the present invention comprising a hose, an intermediate retainer having an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder, and a clamp is disclosed. Among the members, the outer cylinder is the best feature of the present invention. The outer cylinder comprises a first pressed portion having a smooth surface pressed circularly in the radial direction inwardly except its both ends, and at least one second pressed portion formed on the portion of the first pressed portion and depressing the outer surface of the hose by its inner periphery surface. Since no machining operations are required to manufacture the hose intermediate retainer, the manufacturing cost is reduced, in addition the hose intermediate retainer thus manufactured exhibits an excellent tensile strength.

Abstract: A hose having an orifice is disclosed. The hose comprises a nipple which is provided in one part of the inside of the hose for the purpose of forming an orifice; a sleeve which is fitted over the outer surface of the hose at a position corresponding to the nipple, the sleeve having a caulking portion for fixing the nipple such as to make it axially unmovable, and the caulking portion being shorter than the length of the nipple; and at least one pair of protrusions which are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the nipple, and which are retained by the inner surface of the hose and prevent the nipple from moving, the protrusions being situated at both ends of the nipple at positions which do not correspond to the caulking portion.
