  • Patent number: 7458034
Abstract: Proposed are a data-organization support method for efficient user-initiative on-screen data classification and a program product for achieving the data-organization support method. A data file, a correction of items to be classified is loaded to display a classification window having a group window and several item (contents-view) windows. An on-screen operation, such as, shifting an item over the item windows initiates item processing such as change in a group to which the item belong. An on-screen operation, such as, shifting a group in the group window initiates group processing such as displaying the contents of the group or change in group hierarchy. The results of classification are reflected on the group window and stored as a classification history.

  • Publication number: 20030212585
Abstract: Provided are a computer-aided idea-drawing support method and a program product for supporting idea drawing that achieve effective VOC-based idea drawing and classification. A data file, a collection of VOCs, is loaded to display a classification window containing a group window and several item (contents-view) windows. A specific operation to an item displayed on one of the item windows displays a next-level-item extraction window on the classification window for a next-level-item extraction procedure. On-screen item and/or group handlings cause classification procedures, such as, change in group to which an item belongs, displaying group contents and change in group hierarchy. Results of extraction and classification procedures are stored as history.

  • Publication number: 20020184082
Abstract: Customer requirements from a customer are listed in the row direction of a QFD chart. Product characteristics are associated in the column direction of the chart to develop the functions, thereby obtaining QFD data. Using the QFD data, useful information, i.e., customer satisfaction that is useful for evaluating how the customer satisfaction of customer requirements would change in accordance with the achievement value of the product characteristics is obtained from the relationship between the actual achievement value (benchmark value) of the product characteristics and the estimated value of customer satisfaction of the customer requirements.
