  • Publication number: 20200130042
Abstract: Provided is a finishing processing method, including placing an inner panel having a protrusion and an outer panel on each other, and, by using a hemming finishing punch having an arc-shaped pressing surface and having a relief hole of a size corresponding to the protrusion at a central part of the pressing surface, pressing the outer panel so that the arc-shaped pressing surface is rolled along an end portion of the outer panel and the relief hole corresponds to the protrusion.

  • Publication number: 20100085996
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a nitride semiconductor laser device with suppression of deterioration of the yield and good light emission characteristic. The method comprises a step of forming nitride semiconductor layers on an n-type GaN substrate, a step of forming a ridge composed of a p-type clad layer and a contact layer and extending in the [1-100] direction, a step of forming a trench made in the top surface of the n-type GaN substrate by applying a YAG laser beam and extending in the direction ([11-20] direction) perpendicular to the ridge, and a step of forming end surfaces of a resonator by dividing the n-type GaN substrate from the trench. The step of forming a trench includes a substep of forming the end of the trench in a region a predetermined distance W2 (about 50 ?m to about 200 ?m) apart from the side face of the ridge.

  • Patent number: 5072630
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle, including an automatic transmission provided with a multiple transmission gear mechanism, automatically establishes a specific gear stage of a speed ratio from among a plurality of gear stages in accordance with an vehicle operatiing condition. A shift control signal producing device produces a shift control signal in order to produce a shift operation between different gear stages in accordance with the vehicle operating condition. An engine output control device reduces an engine output in synchronism with the shift operation so as to suppress a torque shock due to the shift operation. A detecting device detects a specific vehicle operating condition in which a change in a time lag between a generation of the shift control signal and an actual initiation of the shift operation in the transmission is greater than a predetermined level and produces a signal denoting the specific vehicle operating condition.

  • Patent number: 5069084
Abstract: A control system for an automatic transmission in an automotive vehicle selects an appropriate shift pattern in compliance with the temperature of hydraulic oil contained in a torque converter of the automatic transmission. The control system includes a transmission control unit having a plurality of shift patterns including a first shaft pattern favored for a cold engine and a second shift pattern favored for an engine after warm-up, an oil sensor for detecting the temperature of hydraulic oil contained in or supplied to the torque converter, a timer for counting the time period after engine starting, and a CPU for selecting either the first or second shift pattern. The first shaft pattern is selected when the temperature of hydraulic oil is less than a preset value, whereas the second shift pattern is selected when the time set by the timer is up.

  • Patent number: 5040509
Abstract: A control system for controlling the timing for sparking an engine is adapted to retard a spark timing in a predetermined amount at the time of accelerating. An amount of retarding the spark timing at the time of accelerating is set to be gradually increased and then to be gradually decreased. The retarding amount at the time of accelerating is preferably changed in each spark cycle, namely, in each spark timing.

  • Patent number: 5012695
Abstract: A gear-shifting shock suppressing system for a vehicle provided with an automatic transmission which shifted to a desired gear-speed on the basis of a gear-shifting signal controls the output of the engine of the vehicle in order to suppress gear-shifting shock which occurs when the automatic transmission shifts. The gear-shifting shock suppressing system detects the interval between successive two gear-shifting signals and controls the output of the engine when the interval between successive two gear-shifting signals is longer than the predetermined time in a manner different from the manner in which the gear-shifting shock suppressing system controls the output of the engine when the interval between successive two gear-shifting signals is shorter than the predetermined time.

  • Patent number: 4993283
Abstract: An engine control system for a vehicle provided with an automatic transmission including an engine output control device for reducing an engine output in response to a shift operation of the automatic transmission, brake switch for detecting a braking operation of the vehicle, a restricting element for restricting the engine output control device from reducing the engine output when the braking operation is detected during the shift operation. The engine output is not reduced when the braking operation occurs even under the shift operation so that an undue drop of engine speed can be avoided. The engine speed can be smoothly increased after the braking operation responsive to acceleration operation to thereby improve the controllability.
