  • Publication number: 20220412721
Abstract: Provided are a probe for a three-dimensional coordinate measuring device that enable calculation of coordinates of a measurement point of a measurement target with high accuracy. The probe is used in the three-dimensional coordinate measuring device that calculates coordinates of a measurement point of a measurement target. In the probe, a plurality of markers whose image is captured by an imaging unit are held by a probe holding unit. A stylus, which is brought into contact with the measurement target to specify the measurement point, is attached to the probe holding unit. The stylus has a predetermined positional relationship with respect to the plurality of measurement markers. The probe holding unit is connected to a probe casing in a freely movable manner. A magnetic sensor that outputs a signal corresponding to a displacement amount of the probe holding unit with respect to the probe casing is provided inside the probe casing.

  • Patent number: 7061950
Abstract: The present invention aims at providing a drive circuit and a drive method for a semiconductor laser module including an electro-absorption type optical modulator, capable of obtaining a stable optical output without controlling a module temperature to be constant. To this end, the drive circuit of the present invention detects a temperature in the semiconductor laser module comprising a semiconductor laser and an EA modulator, and based on the detected temperature, controls a drive current supplied to the semiconductor laser and a bias voltage and a modulated electric signal applied to the EA modulator, so that average power, an extinction ratio and an optical cross point of an optical signal output from the semiconductor laser module are held to be constant.

  • Patent number: 5604759
Abstract: A drive circuit drives an electronic device that converts electric power into light or heat energy. The drive circuit has a switch connected to the electronic device in series, and a control circuit for providing, in response to an input control signal, a pulse modulation signal for controlling the switch. The frequency of the pulse modulation signal is higher than the response frequency of the electronic device. Alternatively, the drive circuit may have first to fourth switches disposed on both sides of the electronic device, for passing a current in different directions through the electronic device, and a control circuit for controlling the switches to change the direction and magnitude of the average of the current flowing through the electronic device in response to an input control signal.

  • Patent number: 4816699
Abstract: A slice amplifier using field effect transistors (FET's) is provided which is suitable for achieving a correct discrimination of logics "0" and "1" of an input signal (S.sub.in) at very high speed by reshaping the input signal (S.sub.in) into rectangular shaped pulses (S.sub.out). The top and bottom of each pulse are determined to predetermined constant levels by using a first FET (T.sub.1) and a second FET (T.sub.2) with the aid of a first monitor and control unit (41) and second monitor and control unit (42). The first and second monitor and control units (41, 42) monitor the drain voltages of the first and second FET's (T.sub.1, T.sub.2) and control the gate-source voltages thereof, respectively, so as to realize the predetermined constant levels.
