  • Publication number: 20230043393
Abstract: A photothermal treatment device includes: irradiation means that irradiates a lesion tissue in a body cavity with heating light; a thermo-endoscope including endoscopic imaging means that images the inside of the body cavity and thermographic imaging means that images a surface temperature of a tissue in the body cavity as a thermal image; and control means (control personal computer (PC)) that controls an output and an irradiation time of the irradiation means based on temperature information of the thermal image obtained from the thermographic imaging means.

  • Patent number: 8652833
Abstract: To provide a cell culture chamber capable of reproducing a cell function in vivo, and a method of producing the same. The cell culture chamber according to the present invention has a concave-convex pattern formed on the surface on which cells are cultured. A concave portion of the concave-convex pattern includes cell culture portions and micro flow channels communicating with the cell culture portions. The bottom surface of each of the cell culture portions has a width 1.0 to 20 times an equivalent diameter of each of the cultured cells. A cell adhesion-inducing substance is formed only on the bottom surface and the side walls of the concave portion.

  • Patent number: 8043854
Abstract: In the transplant of a living organism tissue, such as a heart valve, taken from an animal, etc. into a human body, a cell removing solution for removing original cells from the living organism tissue is provided with flow approximately equal to the bloodstream of transplant recipient living body, and the living organism tissue is placed in the flow so as to effect immersion of the living organism tissue in the cell removing solution. In the immersion, it is preferred that the living organism tissue placed in the cell removing solution, while being rotated, be irradiated with microwave. As a result, original cells can be removed from the living organism tissue uniformly and reliably, so that the biocompatibility of living organism tissue after transplant can be enhanced.

  • Patent number: 5649433
Abstract: An improved cryogenic liquefied gas container, or a so-called cold evaporator (CE) for containing a plurality of different liquefied gases such as oxygen and nitrogen gases can be installed on a site with a limited surface area and can store the gases at a substantially equal and constant temperature level to ensure a stable gas supply to consumers that may include medical facilities and manufacturing plants. A plurality of inner tanks 4 are vertically arranged and surrounded by an insulation layer 3 in an outer shell 2 in order to economically utilize the site. The temperature of the high boiling point liquefied gas LG1 contained in the upper inner tank 4a and hence the internal pressure of the upper inner tank are stabilized by means of a heat exchanger section 11 to which the low boiling point liquefied gas LG.sub.

  • Patent number: 5109533
Abstract: An industrial measuring apparatus comprises first and second sensors having identical measuring characteristics and arranged close to each other and also close to a common subject of measurement, for measuring the same parameter, a transmitting unit having an adder and a first subtracter respectively connected the sensors through amplifiers, and a receiving unit having a second subtracter connected to the adder and the first subtracter through two transmission lines and constituting a noise canceling device in cooperation with the adder and the first subtracter. The second subtracter produces a receiving signal by subtracting the output of the subtracter representing the difference between the outputs of the first and second sensors from the output of the adder representing the sum of the outputs of the two sensors.
