  • Publication number: 20140084015
Abstract: Provided is a heat insulation container which can be easily produced and assembled at a reduced cost, in which a heat insulation grip portion can be formed by a simple operation, in which a strip-shaped projection is maintained and a heat insulation effect can be reliably maintained even when the container is externally gripped, and which can be reliably gripped without being deformed. The heat insulation container (100) can be formed with the heat insulation grip portion by sliding a sleeve (120) on which a plurality of strips (121, 122) are formed by a plurality of slits (130), wherein at least one of the slits (130) comprises a bent portion (131) which defines a protrusion (127) and a depression (128) in each of the adjacent strips (121, 122).

  • Patent number: 8286824
Abstract: An insulating container includes a container main body and an exterior sleeve to be fit onto the container main body. The exterior sleeve includes a slit forming section including a group of slits formed on the exterior sleeve. An inside wall surface of the exterior sleeve is provided with a shrink-deformable film, an upper portion of the shrink-deformable film is bonded to an upper portion of the exterior sleeve beyond the slit forming section, whereas a middle section covering the slit forming section is free from bonding, a lower portion is bonded to a lower portion of the exterior sleeve beyond the slit forming section, and the shrink-deformable film is shrunk to have the slit forming section project outwardly from the exterior sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20100224637
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improvement of an insulating container wherein either one of an upper portion or a lower portion of an exterior sleeve is fixed to a container main body so as to be fit onto the container main body, and a slit forming section including a group of slits formed on the exterior sleeve is compressed in an up-and-down direction to have the slit forming section project outwardly from the exterior sleeve in order to form an insulating holder.

  • Patent number: 6341524
Abstract: A fuel gauge unit for a fuel tank which, when the gauge unit is attached to the fuel tank, is fixed in its rotational angle in a simple fashion, and in which the fuel scale is simple and easy to inspect visually. An indicator is provided which moves back and forth in a horizontal plane when a bearing connected to a float rotates. The position of the indicator corresponds to a fuel scale, so that the quantity of fuel in the fuel tank can be determined by inspecting the gauge. On the top of the gauge unit is a protruding rectangular portion with a transparent window. This protruding rectangular portion engages in a hole in the cover plate attached to the fuel tank. The protruding rectangular portion and its hole may have a rectangular or oblong surface which serves as a rotational position lock for the gauge unit.

  • Patent number: 6058894
Abstract: A general purpose air-cooled, four-cycle engine in which a first ball bearing supporting the output shaft of the crankshaft is larger than the second ball supporting the other end of the crankshaft, and the first bearing has an external diameter which is approximately equal to or greater than the distance from the crankshaft to the camshaft. The camshaft driven by the crankshaft is supported by sliding bearings. The governor which controls the rotation of the engine and which is driven by the rotation of the crankshaft is enclosed in the crankcase on the same end as the cooling fan, which is the end opposite the output end of the crankshaft. This invention fulfills the demand for a smaller crankcase; does not make use of special bearings; and achieves a greater bearing capacity through the use of large-diameter standard-precision ball bearings. In addition, it simplifies the required processing and allows the assembly process to be automated.

  • Patent number: 6006703
Abstract: A cooling fan made of synthetic resin for an air-cooled engine which is fixedly secured to a side of the body of a flywheel includes a plurality of cooling fins formed along a circumferential direction thereof, and a circular reinforcement rib projecting axially from the periphery of a backboard, thereby reducing deformation of the fan during running of the engine and preventing deformation of the fan during transportation, without significantly increasing the weight of the fan.

  • Patent number: 4517087
Abstract: A filtration/separation apparatus in which a filter cloth is arranged to travel and face a rotor so that a partitioned space chamber defined by the cloth and rotor is gradually narrowed in accordance with the rotation of the rotor. The space chamber defined is partitioned by vanes provided on the rotor, so that the positional relations in contact between the tip ends of the vanes and the filter cloth are maintained desirable with a high accuracy.
