    Abstract: A hydraulic control system includes an upper valve body, a lower valve body, a valve body plate provided between the upper valve body and the lower valve body and including a hole connecting a fluid passage of the upper valve body and a fluid passage of the lower valve body, a solenoid valve configured to control a pressure upstream of the hole of the valve body plate, and an electronic control unit. There is also a control method for the hydraulic control system. The electronic control unit is configured to, when the electronic control unit determines that a vehicle on which the hydraulic control system is mounted is stopped, decrease the pressure upstream of the hole of the valve body plate by controlling the solenoid valve.
