  • Patent number: 5426479
Abstract: An apparatus for changing a size of a camera's photographing aperture, which defines an image area on a film, includes a mechanism for intercepting light within the photographing aperture. The light intercepting mechanism is movable between a retracted position, in which the aperture is fully opened, and a projected position, in which the aperture is partly covered. The apparatus further includes an association mechanism which moves the light intercepting mechanism between the retracted position and the projected position. At least a forward most projecting edge of the light intercepting mechanism is moved towards the film when the light intercepting mechanism is moved into the projected position.

  • Patent number: 5335031
Abstract: An apparatus for changing a size of an aperture which defines a photographing aperture in a camera includes a pair of light intercepting plates which can cover a predetermined width of end edges of the aperture to partly intercept light incident thereupon, and an association mechanism which moves the light intercepting plates in association with each other between a retracted position in which the aperture is fully opened and a restricted-size position in which the aperture is partly intercepted. The association mechanism is comprised of a shaft secured to a camera body, and a connecting rotatable member which is rotatably mounted to the shaft. The connecting rotatable member is connected at one end thereof to one of the light intercepting plates and at the other end thereof to the other light intercepting plate, respectively, so that the rotation of the connecting rotatable member causes the associated movement of the light intercepting plates between the retracted position and the restricted-size position.

  • Patent number: 5295303
Abstract: The strip 2 is inserted between forming rollers 1a and 1b so that fins 3 are formed on the strip 2. The forming rollers 1a 1b have a line of protrusion protruding radially on the periphery thereof and the protrusion of one roller mates with protrusion of the other roller. A pair of forming rollers or more pairs of forming rollers are employed. A part of the strip 2 sandwiched between side face portions 13a and 14a of the protrusion 13 and 14 is pressed in the direction of the thickness of the strip with a stress between yield stress and maximum stress of the strip 2. To adjust the stress, a clearance G between protrusions is controlled.

  • Patent number: 4522921
Abstract: A sample delivering method for use in a multi-channel multi-item automatic chemical analyzer having a plurality of reaction lines corresponding to the test-items and a sample supplying line. A sample delivering region is determined in the reaction lines and the sample supplying line, and vacant reaction tubes in the sample delivering region are detected. Samples in the sample delivering region are delivered into the vacant reaction tubes which correspond to the test-items required for the samples. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the number of reaction tubes to be used in an analysis, and thus the through-put of the analyzer can be improved to a great extent as compared with a conventional automatic chemical analyzer.
