  • Publication number: 20140163378
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic device includes a transducer array, a transmission drive unit that causes the transducer array to transmit an ultrasonic beam from the transducer array toward a subject, a reception signal processor that processes reception signals output from the transducer array having received an ultrasonic echo from the subject, an image producer that produces an ultrasound image on the basis of the reception signals processed by the reception signal processor, and a control unit that controls the reception signal processor such that the reception signal processor is operated in a power saving mode in which processing of the reception signals output from the transducer array is selectively stopped depending on a measurement depth.

  • Publication number: 20120238876
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes: an ultrasound probe which has a one-dimensional array-type transducer array and an array moving unit moving the transducer array in a direction substantially orthogonal to the array direction of the transducer array; a transmission and reception circuit which electronically scans the transducer array, and transmits and receives an ultrasonic beam toward a subject to acquire two-dimensional image data; and a controller which, when the internal temperature of the ultrasound probe is equal to or higher than a first set value, controls the transmission and reception circuit such that the transmission and reception or the reception of an ultrasonic beam for at least a part of a region other than a region of interest is paused.

  • Publication number: 20120232392
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus is provided which includes an ultrasound probe performing ultrasound transmission and reception in different directions and a diagnostic apparatus body combining images different in the direction of transmission and reception to produce an ultrasound image. At least one of ultrasound images to be combined is changed depending on the set region of interest (ROI) to an image of the depth corresponding to the ROI. When an acoustic coupler is attached, the depth of at least one of ultrasound images to be combined is increased. The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus is capable of improving the image quality of the ROI and obtaining efficient high-definition ultrasound images reaching a predetermined depth when the acoustic coupler is attached.

  • Publication number: 20120209119
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes: a transmission driver which transmits an ultrasonic beam from a transducer array toward a subject; reception signal processors which process reception signals output from the transducer array having received an ultrasonic echo; an image producer which produces image data based on the processed reception signals to produce an ultrasound image; a region detector which detects a region including a high rate change portion, which changes at a rate equal to or higher than a predetermined value, from the ultrasound image as a first measurement region; a controller which controls the transmission driver and the reception signal processors such that transmission and reception of ultrasonic waves are intermittently performed to decrease a frame rate in a second measurement region, where the high rate change portion is not included, less than in the first measurement region.

  • Publication number: 20120203105
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus comprises an ultrasound probe including a transducer array, a transmitter for transmitting an ultrasonic beam from the transducer array toward a subject, an image producer for producing an ultrasound image based on a reception signal outputted from the transducer array having received ultrasonic echoes from the subject, a temperature sensor for detecting an internal temperature of the ultrasound probe, a channel selector for selecting simultaneously available channels for reception from a plurality of channels of the ultrasound probe, and a controller for controlling the channel selector so as to reduce a number of selected simultaneously available channels for reception as the internal temperature of the ultrasound probe detected by the temperature sensor increases and as a measuring depth decreases.
