    Abstract: A seal-checker detection unit detects height-wise displacement of a contact component when it touches an item (e.g., a tray) sealed by a film. The sealed state of the item is checked by comparing the height-wise displacement with a threshold. The contact component waits at a position above a rim of the sealed item and, when the item is transported thereto, a force applied by a raising/lowering unit to the contact component to lower it toward a lower position is changed. When the contact component touches the film of the tray, force that raises/lowers the contact component is increased to exert pressure on the film of the tray.

Also, the reinforcing material is provided in an area extending rearward from a rear end portion of the sealing member in an insertion direction into the terminal mounting hole.
