    Abstract: An energy-saving freshwater producing apparatus having a simple apparatus configuration. Seawater is heated by a heat-collecting device based on solar light, and the heated seawater is injected to one or more mist-forming structure formed as a rotor comprising a plurality of collision members formed to extend radially, to form a mist. Water vapor generated from the formed mist is introduced to a heat exchanger arranged in a side-by-side relation to the mist-forming structure in a horizontal direction through a demister, while being carried on an airstream by an airstream-forming device. Low-temperature seawater flows through the heat exchanger vertically from a lower side to an upper side thereof. The introduced water vapor is condensed into freshwater by cold energy of the seawater, and the freshwater is collected.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a process for manufacturing a semiconductor structure comprising the steps of: (a) forming a first SiN film on a semiconductor substrate; (b) patterning the first SiN film, etching the resulting substrate using the first SiN film as a mask to form a plurality of first trenches and at least one second trench, so as to form a first islands group and at least one second island-like region; (c) depositing a SiO2 film to fill the first and second trenches with the SiO2 film; (d) forming a second SiN film over the resulting surface; (e) polishing the second SiN film and the SiO2 film by a CMP method using a first slurry until the surface of the first SiN film on the second island-like region is exposed; (f) polishing the second SiN film and the SiO2 film by a CMP method using a second slurry until the surface of the first SiN film on the first island-like region is exposed; (g) etching a predetermined amount of the SiO2 film; and (h) removing the second and first SiN films.

    Abstract: In a paper ejection device for a stencil printing device provided with a lifting member for producing a curvature in each sheet of ejected printing paper as seen in a cross section perpendicular to the direction of paper ejection, the lifting member is allowed to move at least between a first position which is relatively retracted from the paper ejection passage and a second position which relatively protrudes into the paper ejection passage. The movement of the lifting member may be effected according to the size or the kind of the printing paper or depending on whether a sorter is connected to the printer or not. Thus, an appropriate curvature can be given to the ejected printing paper without requiring any manual work by the user. Thus, a satisfactory paper ejecting operation can be ensured at all times without requiring any manual work by the operator of the stencil printing device.
