  • Publication number: 20130069548
Abstract: A switching power supply includes a switching element, a constant current element, a rectifying element, a first inductor, a second inductor, and a control circuit. If the switching element is on, the switching element supplies a power supply voltage to the first inductor and feeds an electric current. The constant current element turns off the switching element if the electric current of the switching element exceeds a predetermined upper limit. The rectifying element feeds the electric current of the first inductor if the switching element is turned off. The second inductor supplies the induced potential to a control terminal of the switching element. The control circuit supplies a pulse-like potential to a control terminal of the constant current element and outputs if an average of the potential is lower than a lower limit.

  • Patent number: 8269752
Abstract: A burst wave is applied to an excitation element of a touch panel main body from an oscillation section so as to excite surface acoustic waves, and the excited surface acoustic waves are received by a receiving element of the touch panel main body. The received signals are A/D converted by a receiving section, and a control section calculates the contact position and the contact width of the object in contact with the touch panel main body, based on time-series changes in the received strength. Based on the received strength of surface acoustic waves, the control section controls the wave number of the burst wave to be applied to the excitation element.

  • Patent number: 8246300
Abstract: The distance h between a base end face 12ta (12tb) of a stator-blade-wheel outer ring part 12a and the corresponding rotor-blade end face 4aa (4ab), is set at a value larger than the maximum deformation of the running rotor blade wheel 4a during the pump operation. The larger distance h keeps perfectly stator-rotor separation, while the outer ring part 12a of a stator blade wheel 12 goes, in assembling, into the rotor area on account of large shift of any half of stator blade wheels owing to the wide cutting width. It makes also easy stator blade wheel assembling of the pump, as it is allowable to arrange half stator blade wheels with some eccentricity.

  • Patent number: 8198162
Abstract: Provided is a manufacturing method of a semiconductor device wherein the generation of voids is prevented in aluminum-based electrodes or the like. The method is suitable for manufacturing a semiconductor device adapted for vehicles, which is required to have a high reliability. However, it is very difficult that power semiconductor devices such as power MOSFETs, in particular, trench gate type power MOS devices are formed without having any void since the thickness of aluminum-based electrodes thereof is as large as about 3500 to 5500 nm (2.5 ?m or more). In the present invention, a method is provided wherein at the time of forming an aluminum-based electrode metal film positioned over a wafer and having a thickness of 2.5 ?m or more over a highland/lowland-repeated region in a line and space form by sputtering, the temperature of the wafer is set to 400° C. or higher and lower than 500° C.

  • Patent number: 8185683
Abstract: Transparency of resources is provided and ordering in an access is guaranteed between nodes on a computer network. In an information processing system in which a plurality of processor units are connected to each other by a switch, a global address space is introduced into which effective addresses of the processor units are mapped and which is shared by the plurality of processor units. In response to an access request packet issued by a processor unit and designating an effective address of a target node, a bridge for routing an input and output bus of a processor unit to an input and output bus of the switch converts the effective address of the target node into a global address by appending to the packet a node identification number identifying the target node, and outputs the access request packet designating the global address to the switch. After an access request packet for a write operation is output, the bridge confirms whether the write operation is completed in a target node.
