  • Patent number: 7927168
Abstract: A low-pressure discharge lamp having a tubular glass lamp vessel 10, on an outer surface of which conductor layers are formed as electrodes 21 and 26. The ultrasonic solder dipping layers 31 and 36 are formed at both ends of the vessel 10 as conductor layers. The end surfaces of the glass lamp vessel are blasted and ultrasonic solder dipping layers are formed on the blasted surfaces 41 and 46 by ultrasonic solder dipping. Conductor layers form external electrodes 21 and 26, which are in contact with the glass surface more strongly. A low-pressure discharge lamp having the conductor layers of a uniform thickness can be mass-produced at low cost.

  • Patent number: 7926521
Abstract: To be able to simply carry out an operation of repairing a punctured pneumatic tire, to be able to inject a necessary amount of a sealing agent firmly into the pneumatic tire even when the apparatus is used in an inclined state and to prevent clogging of the sealing agent and leakage of a liquid by being pressurized. A pump up apparatus 30 is an apparatus for injecting a sealing agent in a liquid state into a punctured pneumatic tire 38, thereafter, supplying compressed air into the pneumatic tire 38 to elevate an inner pressure thereof. The pump up apparatus 30 includes a sealing agent vessel 34 accommodating the sealing agent, a sealing agent injecting pump 42 for sucking the sealing agent from the sealing agent vessel 34 to feed it to the pneumatic tire 38, and a compressor 44 for pressurizing and sending air to the pneumatic tire 38.

  • Patent number: 7891385
Abstract: To reliably supply a predetermined amount of sealing agent into a pneumatic tire even if the device is inclined and after the predetermined amount of sealing agent is supplied, to automatically start feeding compressed air into the pneumatic tire. In pumping device 30, when compressed air is supplied to air chamber 54, internal pressure of air chamber 54 increases, and as the internal pressure of air chamber 54 rises, a contained volume of air chamber 54 increases while a contained volume of liquid container 52 decreases. Thus, sealing agent 100 in an amount corresponding to the amount corresponding to the reduction in the contained volume of liquid container 52, is forcibly discharged from discharge outlet 64 and the discharged sealing agent 100 is injected into tire 90.

  • Patent number: 7878360
Abstract: A container for storing and injecting a liquid sealant for sealing and closing a puncture hole of a pneumatic tire includes a container body for storing the sealant. An outlet for injecting the sealant to outside opens in a lid securing portion of the container body, and an outer lid member having a sealant path therethrough is connected to the lid securing portion and communicates the sealant path with an interior space of the container body through the outlet. An inner lid member is press-fitted into the outlet and maintained in a closure position for tightly closing the outlet. The inner lid member can be forced from the closure position into inside of the sealant path, by the pressure of the sealant in the container body and/or by the pressure of gas above the sealant. A connector member connects the inner lid member to the lid securing portion or the outer lid member so as to be movable from the closure position to the interior of the sealant path.

  • Patent number: 7838618
Abstract: A process for producing a phenylene ether oligomer comprising oxidative polymerization of a specific bivalent phenol compound and a specific monovalent phenol compound in an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, wherein the aromatic hydrocarbon solvent of a phenylene ether oligomer solution obtained after the termination of the polymerization is replaced with a water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point higher than that of the aromatic hydrocarbon solvent and the resultant phenylene ether oligomer solution is brought into contact with water, thereby precipitating the phenylene ether oligomer as particles.

  • Publication number: 20100186849
Abstract: A reliably operable sealing and pump-up device with simple jig installation and in which the jig does not come out even when subjected to pressure. The sealing and pump-up device 10 includes: a liquid agent container 18 containing a sealing agent 32; an injection unit 20 that is connected to an outlet 29 of the liquid agent container 18 and has a liquid pressurization and supply chamber 40 and a jig insertion hole 44; a jig 82 that by insertion into the jig insertion hole 44 pierces an aluminum seal 30 by means of a piercing member 62 and closes off the jig insertion hole 44; and a leading end portion 85, of an insertion portion 84, having a step 85A that catches on an edge 44B of a jig insertion hole 44 before the jig 82 that has been inserted into the jig insertion hole 44 reaches a piercing position, when the aluminum seal 30 is pierced. The jig 82 has simple installation and can be reliably operated because the jig 82 does not come out even when subjected to pressure.

  • Publication number: 20100189575
Abstract: When a press jig is inserted into a jig insertion hole, an O-ring attached to the outer peripheral surface of the press jig is prevented from being caught on an air supply port opening to the inner peripheral surface of the jig insertion hole and damaged. In a sealing pump-up device 10, the opening diameter of an air supply port 58 opening to the inner peripheral surface of a jig insertion hole 44 provided at one end of an air supply path 60 is set smaller than the strand diameters of an O-ring 72 and an O-ring 96. Consequently, the width at the edge of the air supply ports 58 on which the O-rings 72, 96 may possibly be caught can be made sufficiently smaller than the strand diameter of the O-rings 72, 96.

  • Publication number: 20090277534
Abstract: A sealing/pump-up device for tire that not only ensures the storability of sealing agent but also realizes rapid supply of sealing agent into a pneumatic tire. By insertion of insert part (60A) of jig (60) in jig insertion aperture (42) of sealing device (10), aluminum seal (30) is burst through by means of boring member (50) to thereby drive the same in the container. As the distal end of the insert part (60A) locates in the vicinity of upper wall surface within liquid agent container (18), a compressor unit is operated to thereby supply compressed air into the liquid agent container (18). As the end portion of first passage (62) provided in the jig (60) lies in a position superior to the liquid surface of sealing agent (32), the compressed air realizes rapid supply of the sealing agent (32) into a pneumatic tire without surfacing in the form of bubbles through the sealing agent (32).
