    Abstract: This is to provide an electroconductive polymer material which has excellent adhesion to a base and excellent water resistance. Also, this is to provide a solid electrolytic capacitor which has excellent water resistance by using the same. An electroconductive polymer solution according to the present invention contains an electroconductive polymer, at least one water-soluble multivalent alcohol, and at least one oxoacid having two or more hydroxy groups. Since a resin obtained by carrying out a polycondensation reaction of the water-soluble multivalent alcohol and the oxoacid has a cross-linked structure, an electroconductive polymer having lower water-absorbing property and more excellent water resistance in comparison with a resin having a linear structure can be obtained.

In an emulsion comprising a dopant of a low molecular organic acid or a salt thereof, obtained by emulsifying a monomer providing a conductive polymer, using a nonionic surfactant, in a water, the monomer is subjected to chemical oxidative polymerization, using an oxidant, to synthesize a conductive polymer. The obtained conductive polymer is purified, and then, the purified conductive polymer and an oxidant are mixed in an aqueous solvent containing a polyacid component to produce a conductive polymer suspension.

Next, with a second insulating resin sheet 42, which forms an upper layer of the insulating resin sheet 4, interposed between the first insulating resin sheet 41 and the heat sink block 3, the second insulating resin sheet 42 is bonded to the first insulating resin sheet 41 by thermal compression, and the heat sink block 3 is bonded to the second insulating resin sheet 42 by thermal compression.
