Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention are a control system and method for guiding classified storage and feeding/discharging takeout and placement of lock pins. The control system for guiding classified storage and feeding/discharging takeout and placement of lock pins comprises a terminal operation system, a guide system, a robot system, a feeding and discharging device, a transportation unit, and a stacking storage unit. The terminal operation system acquires terminal operation information in real time, and transmits, to the guide system, information of containers needing to be unloaded and loaded and information of corresponding lock pins.

Abstract: Techniques for migrating duration trees from a source database server (or instance) to a destination database server (or instance) are provided. A duration is a memory management construct that allows database components to group related areas of memory together. A source duration tree is captured at the source database server and combined with a destination duration tree at the destination database server. Any duration identifiers in the source duration tree that conflict with (i.e., are the same as) a duration identifier in the destination duration tree are mapped to new duration identifiers.

While executing a workload associated with a particular session, session state is created. A subset of the session state comprises large objects that are referred to as “temporary data.” Thus, temporary data is stored in a database (instead of in the database server) and is normally deleted when the particular session is deleted. To avoid this deletion when the session state is migrated to a different session, the temporary data, in one embodiment, is saved in an external storage that is separate from the database. An external table is created in the external storage and stores the temporary data. Location information to access the external table is provided to the other session.
