  • Publication number: 20230355174
Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and electronic devices for tracking hydration of a user. Embodiments may include determining an amount of liquid consumed by the user based on a predetermined baseline consumption rate for the user and a number of sips or swallows detected by a sensor, and reporting an indication of a determined hydration level of the user based on the determined amount of liquid consumed. Some embodiments include determining the user's predetermined baseline consumption rate based on previously counted sips or swallows, either detected by the sensor or input by the user, while the user consumed a known amount of liquid. Some embodiments include selecting the predetermined baseline consumption rate for the user based on the determined type of liquid being consumed. Some embodiments include determining the hydration level of the user further based on a context in the user is drinking and/or the type of liquid being consumed.

  • Publication number: 20230329636
Abstract: Systems and methods executed by a processor of user equipment for ensuring a user receives scheduled notifications are disclosed. Various embodiments may include determining a current exercise performed by the user, determining a target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user, monitoring a current breathing pattern of the user while performing the current exercise based on inputs from a respiratory sensor, determining differences between the target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user and the current breathing pattern of the user, and providing information to the user regarding determined differences between the target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user and the current breathing pattern of the user.

  • Patent number: 9188616
Abstract: A capacitance detecting circuit includes a constant current source supplying a constant current to a voltage detection point, a time measuring unit measuring time of charge until the voltage of the voltage detection point reaches a prescribed voltage, a storage unit and an operation unit. The storage unit stores first data obtained in advance concerning the time of charge of a capacitance element having a known capacitance value, and second data obtained in advance concerning the time of charge of a capacitance component. The operation unit generates third data representing the time of charge of an object of detection from a difference between the first measurement value of the time measuring unit when the capacitance component is connected to the voltage detection point and the second data, and based on the ratio between the third data and the first data and the known capacitance value, calculates the capacitance value of the object of detection.
